While the Vegas seem to favour Tori over Trina, they're not any nicer to Tori, going away on holiday while Trina is getting her wisdom teeth removed, and leaving Tori to deal with her alone.
So messed up. I had RSV a few yrs ago & my parents went out of town to some food festival thing at a casino. I can't believe they stopped at a few stores to buy me Pedialyte on the way home that night

Yep, that was the worst decision they have ever made! If someone in my family had their wisdom teeth removed removed, I would not plan a vacation around that same time. I would stay home and take care of them.

I know this is just a show and I’m looking too into this, but that’s probs why Tori is such a down to earth character. She’s very obviously wealthy to live in a house that big in LA, but she’s so neglected emotionally and had to look after herself that she doesn’t see her privilege in that way. It’s basically just her and her sister all the time in that giant house

The most horrible thing ever that her parents ever did to her was leaving Tori to take care of Trina when her wisdom teeth are removed that was just out of order

The worst part is that Tori is the youngest child and Trina is the oldest one. At first, I thought Tori was the oldest but it was in a vice versa.

I understand that Siblings have to take care of each other but what Holly & David did was wrong.
I almost forgot how terrible these parents were. I had recently seen that omelette scene again with her mom and that's when I REALLY remembered how much she and the dad could be worthy of hate.
If the mother actually acted like one maybe Trina would actually be a better person, in fact it seems like Trina cares more about Tori than our own mother does if you look very closely

These are basically parents who put Tori before Trina. I get it. Trina is self absorbed and annoying but that doesn't mean she isn't your daughter. The mom and dad annoyed me so much since they basically left Tori alone to deal with Trina while getting her wisdom teeth taken out. They need to get parenting advice from someone

If you analyse Trina's character, you can see how she was treated by the parents. First off is her unhealthy selfobession. Her parents never praised or complimented her, and that is why she always wants the spotlight on herself and show people that she is talented and loveable.
Second thing is her materialistic side. Like the birthweek episode. While someone say it's because the parents spoiled her with materialistic things and it does seem like it, it’s not really true. When she asks Tori what she can do with the song, it show that that the parents showed that they 'love' (more like can you stop bothering me) her with materialistic gifts. And Trina decided to have birthweek at a later age (around where Tori was also little). That indicates that maybe not the parents but relatives most definitely favored Tori more e.g. she would get more gift than Trina.
Third is that people saying that Tori grew up normal. Well ofcourse because Trina was their. If Tori was the first born, she would have like Trina too. Trina played an important role in Tori's life. She is the reason why Tori is normal. While Trina had herself for support, Tori had Trina. There were quite a few times where Trina looked after Tori. Like the bush daisy that Tori is allergic too

I wonder what happened to Carly's mom and Freddie's dad. Anyways, when I watch that Japan movie, it made me realize that Spencer and Mrs. Benson are meant to be like Sam and Freddie.

To be honest i can relate. My parents don't pay attention that much even though I'm the oldest sister in the family. So I feel bad for Trina. My parent's probably don't like my personality. Like Tori is way more talented than Trina and I just don’t understand why the parents treat Trina better than Tori. The most frustrating part about Tori and Trina’s parents was the parents taking a trip to Santa Barbara where Tori was forced to take care of Trina when she was having her wisdom teeth out.
