Oh my goodness!! Congrats on your engagement!!! (and the new job!) So happy to have you back for the holiday season, I've really missed you and your videos :) The advent is gorgeous so far; I wish I could have a million of them.
Good to see you back and loved the advent yarn especially the last one 😍 would love to see the finished cat sweaters they’re already looking lovely. And congrats on getting engaged
thank you thank you! I'll be showing them off in my 3rd(?) video in this series, still trying to get back in the swing of things :) thanks for stickin' around!!
Maya! Welcome back! Congratulations on the job and engagement. I hope it’s all going well and I’m glad you’re in a place where you can share your journey again. Omg I am def the second kind of person. As you were showing the packaging and stickers I was like oooo I would have to save all that wrapping! Idk for what but it’s too CUTE! Ahhh! Thanks for watching my video and sharing! ❤☺️ Drew is the coolest. I love that you have a favorite tree AND he incorporated that in the proposal. Definitely share if he starts a shop (no pressure, not every hobby has to be a business!). Those coasters would make great gifts. If he could engrave initials or something too I’d be ordering immediately 😅. I have two friends getting married and have been wracking my brain for beautiful but sentimental gifts. Can’t wait to see the cat sweater and the rest of the advents. 🩵
I was so so excited to see that you had started posting, i love all the colors you work with! it's v inspiring as i'm coming out of my lil slump :) drew says thank you, and i've been trying to get him to open something up. he's not one for this social media life, but he's got a lifetime of my suggestions ahead ahaha! i just recorded a podcast episode where oona and i talk about possible wedding fits / sentimental items to craft up for the occasion.. if you have any ideas please share!!
Good to see you back! I think a scrappy blanket would look really nice with those colors, either striped with a white contrast stripe or just holding the yarn double with a white yarn throughout, similar to the Creabea's scrappy advent blanket (see her last episode around 15:50) :)
oohhh i really like that idea!! i have yet to tackle a full knitted blanket, with all this fingering weight yarn + scraps + the advent i've got laying around i should be thinking about one!
I missed your vids! So excited to see the advent. Living my yarn dreams vicariously through you! Hahah the test knit, what was for my No Waste Sweater right?! I never noticed the zipper being bad in the pics. It looked lovely! Blocking before sewing it in helps me alot. Congrats on your engagement, and I'm excited to see your video's again 😍
haha omg yes i've been so removed from the knitting world i forgot what it was called! i'll be talking about it on my next podcast in more detail, and giving proper credit ahaha!! i still need to weave in all those dang ends and fix the zipper, but after that i know it will be my staple morning sweater :) so excited to be back, and thanks for waitin'

omg girl that's totally fine!!! No problem at all, thanks for the love
Did you knit the green beanie you're wearing in the video? If you did I'd love to know the yarn. I love the color so much.
