Yeah, I was aware of the Morizumi machine, but I had not really seriously considered it as an option until I did some more research. I'm sure glad I did, I think this machine is the best choice.

Yeah, I'm happy with the purchase. This machine does things a Phil Wood can't.

Ha. I can't remember whether it was in a video or in the bikeforums forum, but you mentioned you were shopping for a spoke machine. You didn't mention this unit back then. I was going to contact you and point out Wheelfanatyk's review of it. His wheelbuilding tips series is one of my favorites.
I'd guess it's been a while since you've added a new bike tool toy this nice to the inventory. Congrats.

A Phil Wood spoke threading machine is considerably more money than $3600.
I do not think a factory refurb. machine is that cheap.
You are on the right track with the Morizumi.

Just curious is that a cookie sheet mounted between the Morizumi & the Ikea table? Or is part of the Morizumi?

You don't cut the threads on spokes. You press them in.

Of course. I don’t think I said otherwise except I referred to the action as rolling not pressing. Amounts to the same thing.
