I'm 47 and I started riding Hyland back when they only allowed snowboards on like Wednesdays or something. RIP to all the gloves I shredded on that tow rope. Great video, man. I found myself getting emotional because you do an amazing job at leveling the playing field. Hyland is obviously just a little bump in the Midwest, but I can PROMISE you that there is just as much fun to be had at a place like this versus mountain skiing out West because in the end, it's all about appreciating what you have in front of you and making the most of it.

It blows my mind that none of the hills in CO have installed ropes in their parks. It would free up so many lift lines and allow for some crazy progression.

I have been riding hyland all pre season, out of all the local spots they have the most running in this arwa of MN. What an epic video. I'll be sharing it everywhere. That rope is no joke, eh!?! Dude you killed it! That flow state when everything is going right and you’re stomping everything is so energizing and the feeling of satisfaction at the end of the session is the best.It’s been a long time since I felt that way but that place looks like the best place to get it.

Yes to the long cut bro! So nice to see the boys at Buck, cannot wait for that one... I went to Hyland for the first time after seeing your first video, I live 10 minutes away!! It is the best progression anywhere. For those interested, there is a bunch of beginner features, and a S/M/L jump line there. First place I ever hit a jump clean last season, it's all about the quick progression to build self confidence and learn your approach! I need to get back soon, hopefully the snow stays around.

Kind of all you need. Rope tow mega laps and sick features. I live in Utah and love my big mountain pow days, but places like this or woodwardPC are my go to's. Blasting park laps is great.

Awesome session, love the pace of this. Re: unedited mic'ed footage: I think this is a great idea and a trial is smart. It would provide context to the work you guys put in practicing, learning, and maintaining. Learning how to talk yourself through landing a trick and knowing that the stomper you see on these vids may be try number 14. That being said, it does sound like a lot of work, so see if it becomes part of your arsenal or maybe once a year thing or only at certain hills like this one. Stoke level: YEWW! lol

Tow ropes are the dream for learning and progression. I learned most of my tricks in Seven Springs, PA on a tow rope and got to just dial in all my tricks. I don't know if they still have the tow rope but I'm not sure why resorts don't do them anymore. Anyways, banger video and editing as always. Keeping the stoke alive!
