The Kova piece is basically why Warrior added the removable strap I use for my mod, so if you select that option it might not do what you are looking for.
Hey there! I saw your video about keeping your goalie catcher on your hand. Great hack with the strap! I've got a similar method that might help, for people who do not have that strap. Here's what I do: * Get some wrist wraps: Look for ones with a thumb hole and adjustable velcro straps. You can find them online at most sporting goods stores. * Secure the wrap: Put on the wrist wrap normally, with your thumb in the hole. Then, attach the velcro tab on the wrap to the velcro patch on the top of your catcher's finger area. This locks your glove in place! * Bonus tip: The wrist wrap also adds padding, protecting your hand from the catcher's velcro. It's super easy and really works! Plus, the wrist wrap gives your hand some extra support. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Super smart mod here. I had a G5 and G6 set and I experienced the same thing and I always felt the added wrist strap they sent with it felt awkward and didn't fix this specific issue. Wish I had my Warrior sets to try this mod with now though lol. At the very least I hope Kirk Allen and the people at Warrior see this and make some changes to their next models to fix it.
Warrior has made a tonne of changes on their gear recently, the blocker from G5 to G6 is a great example. So hopefully this gets adjusted in the future!
Awesome video Matt, love my g6 glove but the feeling of losing my grip is a pain in the butt, I wet the plan to make it feel more sticky but I'm going to come up with similar solution! Thank you
