High Voltage Episode 13: Low voltage wiring 🤣
Welcome back! During the break we got our hands on a NST and have worked our way up to an 8' Jacob's ladder, with parts in the shop to go to 10' soon. Any idea what the outer boundaries are for a ladder? Is there a world record we could be going for?
Thx so much. Im macking tesla coil becouse you.
Glad I could help :) Thank you for watching!
this is the link for the wire

I remember seeing one of those mystery tools several years ago.
My neighbor dug it out of a box, spent several minutes finding the right size die, then used it to connect two short lengths of cable into a longer cable.
Either it is a wire crimper, or lots of people just happen to agree that it works okay as one, lol
Will you ever be returning to your workshop?,i hope so but i understand rf its not possible, good luck with your future endeavour.
I'm already back in the shop. There will even be livestreams from there soon.
A flyer or a George Michael.........a careless whisker!
I'm so using that joke.
Crazy Joe should join you on a video.
I don't know about high voltage implications but in a low voltage and particularly automotive where this cable might be in the engine bay, no-ox compound of some sort on the wire before you crimp it. Connections too.
This tool looks identical to the Harbor Freight one I got some years ago, it was cheap, what the hell. It worked ok for a little while then it started pissing hydraulic fluid. It isn't a T&B or a Burndy so my expectations were low. Probably enough crimps in it for a hobbyist. The crimps are fine though lugs vary a little by manufacturer. Some lugs would get pinched where the dies meet leaving sharp edges. Work around that using good judgement...
DO MORE OF TORNADO SIRENS
