I liked the older Robert Taylor the best. When he was in his younger days, especially the films from the 30’s and early 40’s, his perfect and beautiful face was very distracting. He was always prettier than his leading ladies.
I truly enjoyed this video, and I look forward to more like it, hopefully! This was very realistic, and I applaud the writers and movie producers, as well as the actors for an EXCELLENT film❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
He played great character roles in westerns: Ride Vaquero, The last Hunt, Saddle the Wind. And he had great character roles in other genres too, like Johnny Eager.
Indeed, he was one of the most underrated good actors in movie history. You can see him in A Yank At Oxford, then in Bataan, afterwords in Ivanhoe, The Last Hunt, gee he was always very very good, rip
I wonder why the video description doesn't mention that this is an episode of the long running TV anthology Western "Death Valley Days". In any case, thank you for uploading the entire episode for us to enjoy.
One of TV longest running series (ran in syndication from 1952 to 1975). From 1970 to 1974 reruns were shown. And the program has ran on radio from 1930 to 1945!
1:40 This out-of-terrority sojourning couple, arriving after a Long Journey in their lightweight buggy, "clean & fresh" clean-white (light-colored) clothing, as from a bath and 8hrs sleep. 😂 The couple enter the Hotel w/o luggage the man wearing his off-WHITE suit coat (impractical for x-country travel wear), but later exits hotel wearing BROWN suit coat (opposite the logical wardrobe management). 😂
@8:19 The new Marshall puts himself above the law and violates the rights of all the people to keep and bear arms! I always hated that. Where were the lawyers back then? It seems that every town had a lawyer. People are so ignorant! You want a Nanny? You got one who will be glad to order you around! Sorry, but reality hinders me from enjoying movies completely; and I don't want to change!
Dangg robert, an underrated legend.
Underrated and underappreciated.
