Perfect concept for a single off-gridder, but maybe not as practical for a large family with kids. I wonder how durable these are and what kind of warranty comes with it.

for me, this foot powered machine is especially good because it also is treatment for a leg injury (i have an injured right calf/foot (torn calcaneal tendon), that needs to be strengthened, daily, basically for the rest of my life)

Question about the detergents used here: I noticed three different kinds, I think? Or am I wrong (because they're all blue)? Why would you have three seperate sections if the detergents get mixed up anyway? And what would be the third kind, apart from laundry detergent and fabric softener?
Not a lot of apartments have a drain in the floor. With water in it, I wouldn't be able to lift it to the sink to drain. And how would you push the pedal if it were on a counter? Does the drum spin both ways during washing? Because I already had a Lehman's hand-crank, which did not work well because it spun only one way and did not agitate. It's agitation which forces the soapy water through the clothes and really cleans them.
Interesting. I guess you rinse by hand? or refill and rinse? I'd be more inclined if there was an agitator, like the ole top loaders, as the new front loaders kinda blow. Especially, since they have removed phosphates from detergent.
Joe Schauer After the two minute wash cycle, the water is released using the button located at the back. Then, another 5 liters of fresh water is added and spun for 2 minutes for a rinse cycle. That water is released and spin cycle is done for one minute without water.

Wiromax3 I've read somewhere that you use 5 L. of water for washing with soap, and then you use 5 more L. with no soap just for remove it and at the same time as spin cycle.
It is right? YiREGO YiREGO
Madball NY Exactly. After the two minute wash cycle, the water is released using the button located at the back. Then, another 5 liters of fresh water is added and spun for 2 minutes for a rinse cycle. That water is released and spin cycle is done for one minute without water :)
I doubt clothes get clean after only 2 minutes
Interested I want to bring quantities into my country
the most important thing for me is how dry do they spin so how long to dry in front of a fan dryers ruin clothes any idea?
+Steve Leusch How dry they get when you spin it depends on a couple of things, like how fast you are spinning it and how much water the fabric soaks up
I'm going to ask where to buy it?
I live in Taiwan~

Could have used this thing when I was in Africa. Unfortunately the price is much to high for the regions that could really benefit from it. But still, it's cool!
This machine available in Malaysia I want to buy.
+Dio Me Benedica you can have the Drumi shipped to Malaysia! You can pre-order the Drumi here igg.me/at/yirego-drumi
Interesting, but they only showed the person cleaning light-weight silk or synthetic women's undergarments.
Is this strong enough to clean, for instance, a cotton shirt? or even better, can it clean a dirty pair of denim jeans, or is that too much for it?
Meredith34567 Great question Meredith! The Drumi was designed with personal items and delicates in mind, we have been able to wash 1 pair of jeans at a time. We don't recommend anymore than that because it will be too heavy. Please visit our website for more information and don't hesitate to ask more questions! www.yirego.com/#!faq/c1k73
