Oh you can be sure we'll be seeing many more of these - soon! The additional benefit of creating a circular fire is that it absorbs the oxygen to feed the fire! GENIUS ingenuity. Slava Ukraini.
Im 60 now,I haven't seen this kind of terror weapon since Napalm was used in the Vietnam War in the 60s. Other than what Russia did in Ukraine. The Russians dropped incedinary airborne fire weaponry on cities in Ukraine. I like the idea of payback in such an intimate up close sadistically justifed manner. I think this, outside of ancient China,is the first time I've seen the underdog fight back with what are essentially real dragons. Russian military leadership has always shown in conflict, even now while involved in the UN level convention rules they signed up for.... That they never have intended to follow any accepted rules of cruelty not acceptable. Always predictable and unworthy of any mercies under those conventons. Why they, when unassisted have had their asses handed to them like this.
Complete utter nonsense. Both sides using those drones just russian has more drone jammers than ukraine. The drone war is won by rus atm. Also war crimes like this are not acceptable on any side
Badass! I had this idea but with white phosphorus Or napalm Or gasoline Or all 3 ! I also feel they could use drones to drop line charges. To clear trenches. Crazy thing is these thermite attacks melt all armor It might not melt thru it completely but it melts parts together and melts all sensors and antennas Crazy!
I imagine it wouldn’t do much to a tank unless a large amount landed on it. It might ignite explosive reactive armour, thus reducing the protection. And it might ignite piles of shells. I’m surprised they don’t place thermite against a tank, more effective than a shell, especially on the turret roof.
Ukraine if you're listening the United States for a service has special ignition devices that are very small and start a fire pretty much 100% of the time you might wanna look into that they're small you could probably carry 20 or so

It reminds of carpet bombing.
It warms my heart❤
Agricultural spraying drones could be used to douse an area in gasoline first to maximise the effect.
oh boy, you are scary!
Don’t need petrol if you are spraying thermite , Tver it’s burns at 2500c
I like your thinking, mercy is for Cowards.
Flame throwers usually use diesel and it burns longer would love to see this used.
Russians on🔥👍

Thermite is some terrible stuff. It will burn through anything. Can't be anything but terrifying to be on the recieving end of something like that.

They should just sit down with an Xbox and play a round of Battlefield. Winner takes all, nobody dies....
The problem with that is the enemy can also use that. There should be a limit on what a drone could be and how it could be used.
When I first saw it I thought it would be a war crime.

Not just that, but a great tool and idea for terrorists.

What is the need to make public some "secret military technology" after their deployment, some technological advancements are better kept secret
