+Rod Mortensen When the engine is very hot and it gets shocked with cold water it weakens the metal. In most cases the engine wont take any damage because it's heat treated die cast or or sand cast but a general rule is that water and hot heat don't mix

I ride through streams just to keep my sidi's nice and white.seriously dude, look at all the guys going through the water without a hiccup.I think he accidentally hit his shifter ( up shifting) when he went over the tires. I could be wrong, but that's what I think happened.Your response,although long winded,has a bit of validity, but I still think he accidentally up shifted. Besides , when ever I weld something,I always make sure someone's close at hand with a cold bucket of water(just to keep everything nice and straight)😀
yea Im quicker on my 2t 250 than I am on the 2015 ktm 450 so the 4 stroke is a better bike for enduro? I just found it funny that the 5 bikes that finished the biggest enduro race in the world were all 2 strokes?
