I just bought this unit in Lazada. The bottle is not snugly fitted, i wonder if that is normal or not

Have you inserted batteries ? Or charge it without batteries then use it ?
Should the pump be attached to power supply if we don't put batteries??
Hi Nawal. Thanks for your question. The Avent Single breast pump (SCF332) can be used with our without batteries. If you're not using batteries, the supplied adapter should be plugged into a wall outlet. Unfortunately if you use reachable batteries, they can't be recharged by the breast pump itself. Hi there, I've inserted brand new batteries, however the machine does not seem to work. Is there a setting or something I need to change to switch to battery mode?
Phillips, this video is really confusing. My friend gave me the electric base for the breast pump and I am trying to find the name of all the different parts so I can buy them. In the video the voiceover says "grab the tubing and take hold of the disk at the end" when what she appears to be actually doing is taking a completely different piece which is called the diaphragm. Additionally, she says " ... press down on the whole top of the cap" - I had no idea what the cap was, I think it's actually the valve and not the duck valve, but the Natural Comfort Breast Pump Valve. I had a much easier time muting the video and syncing up what the parts looked like with the parts for sale. I understand this video is directed towards people who already have all the parts - however it would be very helpful to people like myself or people who wish to replace parts to know what the parts are called.

Does it have to be the Avent bottle attached or can you use a different bottle if you choose to ? I’ve just been given this pump but there’s no bottle in the box with it.

You can use your Philips Avent breast pump with all baby bottles in the Philips Avent Natural and Anti-colic ranges, as well as Philips Avent storage cups with an adapter for the cup. Please note that we do not recommend using glass bottles with breast pumps as they may leak. Also, our natural bottle and nipple are included with the breast pump. How big is the flange? i want to buy it but im afraid if the flage is to big for me

What’s the difference between the scf332/01 and scf332/31?
Hi Melissa. Good question. Don't worry too much about the digits coming after the "/". Both models are exactly the same, but some retailers just sell it under a different model number. The functionalities and specifications are the same. :) Would you let us know if you have any other questions?
What kind of batteries we can recharge?
Hi there Rashmi, thanks for your question. You can use the Philips Avent single electric breast pump with both batteries and power supply. If you're interested in using batteries, you'd need 4 AA ones. A new 1.5V set of batteries provides 1-3 hours of operating time for your Philips Avent single electric breast pump. Rechargeable 1.2V batteries will lose capacity over time and may cause a decrease in operating time. If you have inserted batteries in the battery housing of the motor unit and plug in the adapter, the breast pump will run from the main power supply. Hope this helps! @@Philips i am using 4 batteries 5v but when i unplus the cable and use the pump with the batteries only it will work for less than a minute. Is it normal or i have to use both cable and batteries together in same time?

Whats the difference between single and double?
Thanks for your question, Hina. The difference between the single and double electric breast pump lies in whether you would like to use one or both breasts to produce breast milk. As far as functionality goes, they are pretty much the same otherwise. We hope this helps!

The motor works but the suction is not enough to express milk..is there something wrong with the motor or the tube?

@@Philips the flange is the part where your nipple is inside the pump. I dont typically fit the standard size of flange. With the wrong size, you dont get enough milk.
