  • Hey guys,
Here’s my real and raw journey of breast feed. I hope it would be helpful. Main thing is don’t give up and don’t doubt yourself. Believe whatever you are doing is right. Ppl around will always doubt you n put you down. This could be out of concern, concern towards you or your baby. But don’t let that effect you. Stay strong n JUST DONT GIVE UP.
Something that I missed sharing, take hot shower bath if u are a new mom. Use hot rolling pin or hot bag. That will help in soften the breast n let’s the milk out. Again that too was painful for me. Breast would get heavy, but nipples were not letting the milk out. N that’s when I used hot rolling pin or took hot showers. N it helped me express 30ml.

Your milk production will be as much as baby needs. When the third month comes you will get maximum milk production as the baby grows. So anyone no to think too much about this and getting stress on this. Milk will come when baby is hungry. Happy parenting to everyone.

    • @atruenut
      @atruenut 2 года назад +28

That is just not true for some people it doesn't come and they need to feed formula. Don't be stubborn if your milk is not coming feed your baby formula! Its nothing to be ashamed of. Don't take risk of giving your baby jaundice when they are very young - just feed them however you can.

When I m pumping every 2 hours, I get between 60 to 70 and in the morning, I get 100 or slightly more than that. Is that enough? I also have to give formula coz he sometimes continiue to cry even after 100 ml feed. Is that normal?

Thank you so much for sharing this video being a first time mom I was faced all the challenges in my life I too had so much stress and cried a lot but god’s grace after so much struggle I had enough milk for the baby she was on complete breast milk. I totally agreed that breastfeeding journey is a beautiful feeling with so much hurdles to check our self confidence and patience level

When my daughter was born in July 2023 I wanted to exclusively breastfeed my baby. However I had no idea it would be so tough.. I had a c section due to some complications but I started to breast feed after 5 hours of birth.. I can't explain how hard my journey was as my baby was cluster feeding at night for like 7-8 days and I was not able to sleep for even an hour. The toughest part was my MIL was so obsessed with my baby and kept pressurising me to start formula milk. She Was saying that the baby is hungry and not getting enough milk that's why she is asking for milk every half and hour...I was not confident enough that I was producing enough milk for the baby.. but I was so stubborn to give up and I exclusively breastfeed my baby.. it's almost 2 and half months and my baby is healthy and I don't give a damn thing what she says...

I don’t understand why breast feeding has not been promoted in eastern cultures anymore. It’s far more harder than formula feeding and so many there to demotivate breast feeding.

Same thing here, i have two other aunt-in-laws including my mother in law who kept saying that i should feed him formula as he is not latching onto me and he is hungry. But my sister insisted me to keep on trying and not to feed formula even if the baby is crying, and then only my baby latched onto me. I was surprised as to how my mother-in-law, who herself breastfed my husband for 6 months and more, said to feed my baby formula! I dont understand

As a new mom of 25 days old baby, I am really tired of people saying "Your breast milk is not enough for the baby", "we need to give him formula","He is not satisfied drinking your breast milk" and take the baby from my arms and making him less dependent upon me by giving him more and more formula milk and trust me this is so frustrating.

I am also mother having two sons with my experience I am telling more usage of garlic and cumin will help you lot for producing more and healthy milk to your baby. You have to take milk products and proteins like mutton, dry nuts, panneer and fruits more frequently....you have to drink water before and after feeding your baby.

I recently gave birth to a baby girl but the delivery had to happen one month prior due date due to complications on account of high bp.. as she was born lbw she spent almost 13 days in NICU and fought very well! After seeing your video on breastfeeding I must say the phase of postpartum depression which I was facing is just waived off and I am 100% confident now on her health!

All these days u showed videos of chilling out after delivery. Thought it was a wrong message to new mothers. But now u did a good thing by showing every new mothers journey.
I used Galact after 3months for few day's thinking as the baby is growing and might need more milk. More than Galact what I found useful was lactogenic foods. Especially Paneer is the best for milk production.
Any new mom can try and check urself. Home cooked Panerr butter masala or some panneer cheese sandwich from a hygenic store. U dont have to eat this evedyday but when u eat these u can see instantly milk production happens and at times starts leaking immediately.
Oats and sabudaana also work like magic...u can eat oats everyday by adding 3 to 4 spoons of Suffola oats(Suffola oats are soft and need not be cooked) to 1 bowl of milk with cornflakes.... I eat these regularly my baby is 7 months and I give him solid only once or max twice. Rest of the time hez only on my milk which my baby enjoys and I am able to produce so much milk even now.
Other thing - Breast feeding is good. But it is important that the mother is healthy. Exclusive breastfeeding is very tiring and sleep depriving. After 3 months I wud give only 1 formula feed and I felt the difference. Even that one formula feed gives u a break and wud give u some amount of sleep as others can feed the baby. Its important u learn but doing things on ur own but take as much help as possible at this time. U will feel active now but after 6 months things start showing up. Knee pains or sole pains or back pain or neck pain weakness something or the other comes up and the reason for not taking care when it was required.
Coming to bonding there is whole life for it. So 6 months are crucial. along side baby care give time for ur recovery too. So take rest and take help from others as much as u get.

I truly was an underproducer. My baby was losing too much weight and wouldn’t pee or poop. I latched her 24/7 I was shocked how much she ate! She woke up and ate! But she wasn’t getting anything out so she was fussy! We had to supplement with formula. The galactagogues totally work! But it’s a slow process for people who are truly under suppliers. U have to express all milk before next feeding. I’m up to expressing just under an oZ in both breasts combined. My baby is almost 4 weeks old. Fed is best❤️
