I'm so convinced he was the most talented jump horse I've ever seen. In his prime, nothing could beat this horse. He only ever did enough to win, even Ruby said he'd never got to the bottom of him. Everytime anything got near him, he just went again. Absolutely incredible horse. Legendary 👏👏👏

+mrbigshot1986 And has raised the World Hurdle as a recognised championship in its own right. Note that the Stayers Hurdle as it used to be called was part of Gold Cup Day before 2005.

Just imagine if they kept him over fences and he found his stride, him, Denman and Kauto Star battling out would have been special. No doubt the best staying hurdler of all time. Special horse, so consistent too.

The best ever in my opinion ( and I even saw Arkle).Kauto was great, Master Minded was great but Big Bucks was something different. The best horse never to win a gold Cup which i think he could have done more than once

The English pretend not to mention the main: the origin of the majority of the great champions for 20 years -----------> France! Look at all these "FR" in groups1 ...... it's a total domination ... (often aqps)
The best breeding in the world provides the best horses in the world.
And yet the French do not even sell the best horses they have ....

Yes but the French don't know how to train a jumps horse
