Heard a rumor that she tested her black character out at a black family cookout and they thought she was part of the family 😂😂 I don’t find it offensive because she made her character actually a smart woman that wanted to publish a book and she encouraged people to love their spouse with everything they got.

I love Tracey Ullman! She does not impersonate her characters, she inhabits them! Her voice is lost in her characters, so not only do her characters sound truly like themselves, the make-up, postures and gestures! Even the characters who are reprehensible and annoying, have a certain fascination. Sidney Cross doing "River Dance"? Genius. Chic is the only character I loathe, not because the character does not ring true, if anything it rings too true. I have known 3 men who are the living embodiment of this character. But still, it is a testament to Ms. Ullman's talant how believeable she makes the character.
I absolutely loved "Sheneesha and Hellura" !!! I was furious when I bought the third and fourth seasons on DVD and found that Sheneesha's best moments were completely edited out. HBO video sucks , big time ! 👎
