- 3 Generations of flagship camera updates coming from Huawei P40 Pro using: 50 MP, P50 Pro using 50 MP and Leica optics, P60 Pro using 48 MP and their own Xmage. Here is my comparison of video recording 4k30, 4k60fps, telephoto video and photos battle night mode, zoom daylight.

Huawei, of course, is always a photo flagship, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s p30 pro, 40 pro, 50 pro or 60 pro, and without a doubt they are also the most friendly and reliable phones👍
I've had p40 pro+ for 4 years and I don't see a reason to change it yet for any other phone. I love it! :)

Although the 3 are very good, I really feel that the p40 pro is the one that has the most natural colors and captures more light thanks to its RYYB sensor

Happy with my P50 pro which seems that it takes better day and zoom photos that the P60 pro , but man those night photos on P60 pro makes my p50 pro go to sleep lol

Well, the color I think is more natural in the p60 pro also if it is done it will approach with a crop to the photo the p60 pro gives more detail not for something in Topes de Gama in details beats the s23 ultra and

The monochrome module at p50 pro should show a better result in shooting poorly lit objects. Since the area of each photosensitive element (pixel) is larger, and the lens aperture is 1.6. I think that the monochrome photo made by p50 pro will surpass the bright lens of the main camera p60 pro in terms of detail. Unfortunately, no one has conducted such comparisment.
Monochrome is very niche and very few people use it

I don't know why in zoom in almost half of the cases it looked like the P50 was better.
But the 3 great highlights of the P60 are:
* night photography
* telemacro
* video in general
OBS: For me, the colors are better, because they are more natural, but it is something subjective, according to the customer's taste.
P60 pro stands out with better hdr, video recording at all and stability

In terms of CPU and battery p40 Pro is better because snapdragon 888 in P50 Pro is very hot and power hungry. P50 has a slight advantage in pictures and it's far ahead in video recording 👍

@@waiwen883 I have had P40 pro until 1 month ago. It was awesome phone and GSF can be easily done with some Downgrade und Googlefy. I would go for P40 PRO because of Chipset. P50 pro also had some WiFi problems iirc. Good luck!
Got a P40 Pro with a broken screen (~70% is useable, but registers ghost touches all the time, bad for focusing or zooming with photos). Could get another one in nice condition or the P50 Pro. Which would you recommend in that case?

How Come you can record More the 5minutes. Whereas I have never been able to record 4k videos on my P50 Pro. Always appear over heat after 2 minutes.

The best bokeh is on P40 Pro because of its large sensor, the colors on the P60 Pro are very good.
P40 Pro is still a power except for the video.
At f1.4 p60 pro should have similar or even more blur than p40 pro.

Boy, the yellow tint on the P50 Pro is ANNOYING. It's really nice to see how well the P40 Pro can still handle itself against its younger brothers in 2023
It's still a good cameraphone except for video recording
P60 better on stabilization and macro
P50 better colour on grass and road.
P40 better photography on bokeh portrait and selfie.
If on p40 not necessarily an upgrade is needed. For sure 50 to 60 not.
P60 pro or p70 pro for vlogging? Is it comparably smooth as the iPhone video? I have the p30 pro and it's amazing for photography but not so great features for video. Do they both have good auto focus?
Context :I want to buy a phone as a replacement for my mirrorless camera when I travel and use it just for it's camera

P70 Pro is not released yet so I can help you here. iPhone is the best for video recording.
I'm using p40 pro and it has amazing cameras.. But the switching between the main and ultra wide camera while video recording the is very irritating.. It literally tells you that you switch to wide angle
That's because of the hardware limitations. cpu can't handle these tasks

Wow. So little real difference between them. Certainly not enough to just a change over from say p40pro bearing in mind the price. It seems mobile phone cameras stopped evolving with the p40
To me, the difference is in video recording in terms of photos. I can't say there's a big difference.

P50 pro is the clear winner here

Hello everyone, I have had a P50 pro for a year, recently I bought a used P60 pro under warranty at a bargain price. So the P50 pro takes photos that are much smoother and more pleasing to the eye, the P60 pro is too sharp, and after magnification I have the impression that it is not that nice. P50 has a larger telescopic matrix - 64MP instead of 48. Night photos, of course P60, but how many photos are taken at night? The P50 is more streamlined and the screen is more curved, which is a plus. Also, no one mentions that when taking photos with the 60 pro, the battery disappears like crazy (3-4% in 5 minutes?), unless I got the wrong model. In general, I'm angry at Huawei for stopping improving the periscope zoom and it only has 3.5 where the Samsung S22 ultra +10. I'm disappointed... Generally, I have the impression that they implement newer things all the time, optical zooms like in the new series, variable apertures because they can't handle it in software, having older processors... other brands, such as the iPhone 15 pro, don't have a variable aperture and they can handle it, but where can I get it? I want to know whether in 2 years, when the warranty expires, it will not be closed completely or will be still open? Who will pay me for the repairs? What do you think, is it better to stay with P50 pro or change to P60 pro? I have to sell one of them.

How to take macro shot on p40 pro

P60 pro has the more natural colors but i felt like the p40 pro had better cloud colors but i wasn't in the place so you know better
Definitely P40 Pro has very good camera but it falls behind in video recording. Too much hdr from p60 pro
I have the P40 pro and let me always tell you the sky changes the color only the wide angle is the one that hits the color more

P60 Pro has one of the best cameras
I have Huawei P40 Pro Plus. So far, I don't feel the need to upgrade, though the camera upgrades are awesome. If Huawei continues without GMS and 5G, it's only right for me to shift to other brands with awesome cameras like Google Pixel and iPhone.

@@gkiss2030 i suppose in order to not stand out of the newer models of the time and give them more technogical room. In fact in the last update they refixed that issue and is somehow as good as before. But after over a year where it was severely compromised,ie even on emui 10 which was that old, photo was point and shoot in night scenes without even nightmode needed and pristine results everytime.. After some updates got slower and gave blurry dark images without the wow factor of before.

40 pro video Quality looks washed out when u Record in the beginning in 4k 60 fps in comparison to p50 and p60. But when u Switch to 4k 30fps 40 pro video looks good. Strange .
Probably 4k60 is upscaled because of the hardware limitations
