So retro. I purchased one a few days ago.

I was looking for a quality internet radio. I had thought about a Roberts, but their high-end radio is relatively huge in size. Then I saw this one and it seemed to be perfect, but… No remote control included, seriously?! Such an expensive radio does not include a remote! Even the cheapest stereo internet radio’s come with a remote control. A complete deal-breaker for me.

      Hi John,
Thanks very much for getting in touch.
From feedback we know a remote control is not a requirement for many customers as the R2 can be controlled using the RotoDial on top of the unit and the Oktiv control app which is free to download. For this reason we did not include a remote in the box as this prevents unused remote controls ending up either tucked away in a draw or in landfill.

It used to be R/C but Rudeark dumped it
      😅

@@HenryWilkinson-c5n Hi Henry, thank you for your comment. We don't include two mains cables in our units, we include a UK 3 pin adaptor and a Euro adaptor in the box, as these units are shipped worldwide.

@@ruarkaudio, but given the retro positioning, a remote makes sense. Also, the environmental reason isn't convincing when R3S (which also has an app) comes with a remote. If the primary reason is to keep costs (and hence price) down, we can understand.
