    I have used this product. Here is my honest input: it's a great product 👌 However, it is only to be used to heatpress full one image pictures. It is not Created to behave like vinyl where you can weed letter by letter
    It works well if you got an image as a whole. That's something I think they should work on
    But overall it isn't a bad product just gotta use it with the right project

    • @TheRealAmythyst
      @TheRealAmythyst Год назад +1

      I was thinking I would never use this for lettering I would just use the vinyl and layer or cut the image in the way that I could use vinyl for the solid color wording and text and if I wanted like a picture or a graphic I would use this but never for everything else.

    I just used this product over the weekend and it started out a nightmare! I had letters, small pieces and they just would not stick to the mask and they curIed so bad I thought I had to scrap the project. I saw a comment about using a mask then weed, I tried this method and now I love the product. I Print, Cut, HTV mask, Remove DTV Backing, Weed, Press. This saved me from having to turn down the project.

    I had 4 shirts to do last weekend and I used this product. At first I used their transfer sheets and it was hell. i eventually used rhinestone transfer sheets and it worked perfectly. After it was pressed the transfer sheet was a little hard to pull off, but it did and there was no damage to the shirt or design.

      Yes I thought about using rhinestone transfer sheets but I remember using it with transfer paper and it was so hard to peel off. I have another video showing that so I knew not to use it. It’s high tack but meant for rhinestones only

    Hi Katrina. I just saw a video about the Siser DTV and they tested the intricate letters by placing the transfer sheet over the image after printing and before cutting. They used the medium cardstock with more pressure in cricut. Then weeded it and placed a 2nd transfer sheet and pressed. When removing the transfer sheet it also picked up the initial transfer materials that were on the letters. Maybe that will work for you. :) Best of luck.

Thank you for sharing ❤❤ I was just chatting with my husband saying I feel there are too many’teachers’ out there not being real with us newbies. I know there are some people cutting/splicing their videos to make them look better in their demos but crafters like to see the real deal not the ‘false’ demo. Thank you for being you!❤❤❤❤ oh also, CrystalAnn used offset on hers so they were full pics so she didn’t have to use the mask at all.

    I feel you. My problem is using butcher paper. It sticks to the easy color DTV after heating it. I 've ruined several shirts. I've tried a light tac mask and that stuck as well. I tried a lower temp on my heat press and butcher paper. Shockingly, it stuck. I'm back to easy subli and sublimation paper. A trick to fix the decal curling up is to heat your shirt and immediately lay the dtv on the shirt while it's still hot, without a mask. You'll watch it uncurl.

    This video was interesting to see. I'm New to Printable heat transfer vinyl, and from what I found, Of the PPD paper, Starcraft and HTVRont printable paper, The Siser easy color printable vinyl is the best I've used. Easy to weed, prints great and looks sick! I used the Frisco transfer tape to transfer the vinyl and cut the image out with a Cricut explore 2. I've had more issues with Starcraft, which I heard was great to use. Didn't work for me. I guess we just have to find what works best for us right? thank you for the video! much appreciated! and great Job!

    I use Siser DTV and I like it. I use ink jet printer. If the letters are small, I use the Cricut (forgot name) it makes back ground bigger or smaller on letters & it goes behind letters, use any color, I would of used black behind letters. I wouldn’t make the back ground too big but enough to peal paper off.
    I have use my white toner ink jet printer and printed on this product and the color was vibrant & sharp.
    This product washes up really nice too.
    I am looking into sublimation and deciding what kind of printer I want.
    I watched a video with sublimated ink on Siser DTV.
    Only problem is sublimation won’t go on black…

The products are not cheap. I love Siser HTV but not Easy Subli and DTV. Your videos are great and I learn a lot from you. I've just seen a Siser video of this stuff, and have seen some reviews, that said the color ran, when it got wet...like a rain drop, or a bunch of rain. I'm wondering how this holds up with washing, i.e. fading, running, staining other things, etc. Also, I wonder if you can use the Cricut transfer tape, rather than the TTP (or whatever it's called). Thank you for persevering. It's good to see someone's mistakes (although not for you), so we can see how you correct (or not, as the case may be), the problem.

    Do NOT use the DTV for caps. The ink will immediately bleed and run from sweat. Siser's answer was to wash the item after pressing. You cannot wash structured ball caps before delivering them to the customer. Cost me big $ to eat and replace the order. This stuff is crap.

    I don’t know, but I guess I got it to work by total accident. I made a few shirts the first time using this and they came out pretty well. I used the sticky backing from the mats as the transfer sheet because I got it confused with an actual transfer sheet and realized it works great to not melt into the shirts. I pressed for a good 15 secs and then peeled it off. I realized this when I wanted to make a my daughter a shirt and I used actual transfer sheets. It melted into the shirts because I forgot to lift my press at 15 secs. I tried again and tried lifting at 15 secs and it had already started to melt. I only every do shirts for my family so I don’t have a lot of experience with shirts so watching your video makes me think I got it to work by accident.

    I love when we can laugh at ourselves - I enjoyed that; your video was very helpful and informative just as it is - I would prefer to see the cons sometimes instead of it working for the content creator and not working for me and have me wondering what I did wrong... TY

    I had to use this in place of the StarCraft I used to buy. So when they sent the replacement (sister easy color) I didn’t get the mask either. Every time I tried to order it was out of stock. So watching your video, I can relate because that was me with StarCraft. I went back into the Atlanta vinyl store website & it was in stock! Yaaay so I’m ordering lots because I use this product a lot with kids shirts that often require a lot of color.

    You have to use Siser TTD Easy transfer sheet with Easy Colour. It tells you that other transfer sheets will not work.
    Not had a problem with it so far 🤞🏻

    This was a very good video. Frustration and all. Thank you. Siser is too expensive for me anyways and there is nothing that justifies their cost over some off brand names that weed just great. Thank you, for helping me not feel like a "tightwode" (that's a Big Mama saying from way back in the day). Lol😂❤

    Thank you for showing these challenges. I thought I was the only one going through with the little letters. I agreed this paper does the best with solid pieces. I also learned the hard way that I should not adjust the letters while on the press because they may not stick to the shirt. Ugg. 😂Keep shining sis.

    I was wondering if you could help me. I have the Epson 2800. I used the hippo ink after watching on of your videos where you were trying the hippo ink. Anyway. My printer messed up after using 10 times it’s saying ink pads need attention. To contact Epson. Well I did and they had me send a pic of inside. Told me that I didn’t us Epson ink so warranty is no good. Can you help me and tell me what I can do to save my printer. Thank you.

    • @katrinasgracefulcreations3711
      @katrinasgracefulcreations3711  Год назад

      I'm trying sorry, but I have no idea what happened because I can't see your printer, nor am I a tech. I would recommend you to look up videos on that specific printer. I don't have the 2800. So Sorry. Whatever ink you are buying there are different models...you have to be sure to buy the correct ink for that that specific printer. You may have to drain the ink out and start again. Please check the brand of ink for the model to make sure its for your actual printer. otherwise everything should work. You can put sublimation ink in any NEW printer as long as you never had inkjet in it prior.

  • @marymorgan1266
    @marymorgan1266 Год назад

    I thought it was me! I have had the exact same problem everytime I do an image with small or intricate designs. Not only do I have the problem with masking but I have the problem you had that the letters come off the backing. This tells me there is something wrong with their bonding between the vinyl and the sheet. This does not happen on easy iron on vinyl. I tried masking with Siser, Cricut and Frisco and I had problems with all of them. I love this product with big one piece designs but they really need to fix this. The struggle is real! I NEED them to get this right :) Thanks for the Video now I know I am not the only one.

    I just received my order from heat transfer nation with the mask and easy color I must say I was very disappointed. I have wasted half the sheets trying to cut letters period. It's and epic $145 fail.

      @queenzdesignglow8848 Год назад

      @katrinasgracefulcreations3711 It cut. However, it cut and messed up the letters each time. Either the letters were too small or I messed up the weeding process either way It wasn't what expected. The letters separated from the image. I don't think that was supposed to happen.
