- Branching out trying to do my best to help people in Shadowlands! I hope this video can help if you're having a hard time with Torghast or just want some type of video to make sure you're doing it efficiently! I am no master myself, but I have definitely taught myself how to somewhat easily solo it consistently so I decided to share. All feedback is greatly appreciated, I try to reply to every single comment! Enjoy. :)

love how i started playing wow for the first time like 20 days ago, but i could understand the entirety of this video, your explanations are so clear even for noobies like me
Bruh, ngl, that opening made me subscribe.
watched a few videos and the intro sold me to sub too!
same here
same same ma man
Bro same
same here xDD just too funny
Your videos have been extremely helpful for a newbie sub rogue like myself. Subbed for the premium content. Thanks, man!
Thanks man, happy to help. I appreciate you.
I'd be interested to see live commentary battlegrounds, but your intros are what made me sub. The humor is so perfectly dry and well-timed. Beautiful.
Lmao, I'm glad you enjoy. Thanks for the support, and I'll definitely keep it in mind!
I've made a couple solo runs without reading or watching any guides (only ilevel 150ish so minimally geared) and now know a bunch of goofy mistakes I made! Thanks for all the tips, I'm eager to try Torghast again :)
Happy to help! Best of luck.
Dude I haven’t played since cata after starting in TBC...Your videos are extremely helpful as I’m completely lost. Keep up the content!!
Means a lot to me Luke. So happy to help!

Thanks for the video man. Super helpful, just got back into WoW after being gone for a year and I have never mained a rogue. Keep the goodies coming
Always happy to help! :)
@@Palumor love it. I watched your pvp rotation guide like 4 times to start practicing(making progress, need to work on my keybinds I think).
I was wondering, once you use CD’s and get those big eviscerated and stuns, if they aren’t done what does your attack sequence or choice look like? I usually just start spamming back stab to build combo points for another kidney, slice n dice or eviscerate.
Do you use shiv? Any thoughts?
@@Briathos1 In general in PvP the sub rogue playstyle is a lot of burst and run. You really operate in kill windows and survival windows. Sub rogue burst is some of the most insane but the sustained dps with a pvp spec is super terrible. I would honestly just stick to backstabbing for sure and maybe if you're riding a healer get a rupture up and maybe a slice and dice but in 3v3 or a situation where you can die, really pay attention and maybe just play defensively. Look for re-stealths or resets in general to get CDs back!
Just noticed that I was not subscribed to you yet, wtf? Watched all your recent Sub rogue videos and notice a huge boost in my DPS in pve and pvp. Great stuff dude keep it up.
Awesome! Thanks, really happy I could help. :)
Hey man, thanks for making these kinds of videos. Super informative for a new rogue + coming back to shadowlands since cata. Earned yourself a sub
You could also purchase "Blinding Smoke Capsules" for the end boss, they are usually sold either on the 3rd or 6th floor, but I'm hearing from a couple people that they weren't available on their run. Personally I have seen them every run myself, but anyway if you come across them I highly recommend anyone to buy them at only 35 a piece. The boss will miss every attack and spell for 30 seconds if you fight in the smoke, and you can buy 3-5. It has a 10 second CD. Essentially you can use them back to back and remain unscathed..
Yeah, a couple others had suggested the same thing and to avoid the gambling! Definitely some better advice haha. :)
I did not know that thats what those did. that will help my boss fights on lvl 3 so much more. ty
got the power up "granting immunity to damage for 1,5 minutes" right before the last boss. RNG blessed I guess xD, nice video :D
Lol damn that sounds OP, nice
To damage? I got immunity to cc few times, thats all. Nice if you got it tho
@@baned3497 I actually did extra testing last night and grabbed one that granted 99% reduced damage for 3 seconds at random. That felt nuts haha
Have one for damage too
dude keep your intros up and I think you'll be at 100k in no time, Gratz on 10k dude!
Lol tyvm for your support and that's sounds like a whopping number. Ty though, overwhelmed by 10k still!
The problem i got yesterday was that i picked damage increasing perks only. at least i wasnt able to kill the boss at the end with 148 itemlvl on the 2nd layer. so its might not the best choice to avoid all the "rest alive" perks... or maybe my dmg perks were just trash in combo.
also you said to avoid all the elite enemies but every enemy is able to drop another perk, so its up to your itemlvl or your current perks when it comes down to the profitable efficiency.
overall its a good thorgast guide for sub-rogue, especially if you want to do it a bit faster or you dont know anything about thorgast, this will help you out for sure.
thank you for another good rogue guide.
dude I JUST needed this, failing on that warden guy over and over this morning . Insane how it was recommended to me only couple hours later
yo dawg. so i found a bug for that boss as a rogue. just blind boss and vanish to despawn adds, then before blind falls off open back up so he doesnt reset and your blind and vanish cooldowns are reset. you can thank me later homie
I enjoy playing sub/nightfae but I'm seriously debating putting him on the sidelines and re-rolling.
It doesn't feel right to be behind on my characters weekly progression because of balancing issues that are out of my control.
Nice video. Subbed.
Thanks for the comment and support. :) I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it, Night fae actually seems pretty cool and strong in the big picture. Just in specific terms of burst right now echoing reprimand hits like a truck!
@@Palumor Do you think switching to Kyrian would be beneficial if I'm looking to have an easier time with Torghast in the future?
I'm usually a solo player and I worry of the potential hours wasted with no progression in the future.
Subscribed a few days ago, I love the vids! I just want to point out to hit your kyrian combo point; last fight you didnt spend it, even though it would've done some good deeps, because of the epic 20 point anima power. Also, for the vendor, I would recommend buying a common last blade anima power over a RNG plundered anima power. (The first vendor in vid gave you the option.) My two cents. Again, love the vids!
My bad dude! Video is outdated to what I know. This was week 1 to help people struggling!
I love your videos, especially the sub rogue ones since i main sub rogue aswell and get alot of tips from you!! Subscribed 100%
Thanks so much, glad I can help. :)
Thanks man, kept failing then watched your vid. You made me clear solo! Didn't even know about the souls, huge boost.
I just solo'd torghast today on my sub rogue, it was so satisfying to finally beat that last boss, I actually jumped up and yelled after beating it :D
Nice lol! That is awesome. Yeah, they are definitely no joke for us rogues right now. Glad to hear you got him down.
7:30 the spam target on the sentinal is to show you the sentinal that aplly to you the debuff for the floor you are in. If you kill him, you get rid of the debuff.
The debuff is the fist one.
That is really solid information! I did not know that, thank you :)
Great to see I can do this solo, tired of my friend assuming I need Shaman assistance... I feel like that would scale it harder...
What I hear is that 2- and 3-man runs are easiest as far as scaling. Still totally prefer to solo, myself.
Great guide man. Have just dinged 60 so look forward to trying this out! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks! Good luck and have fun! :)
Thanks for the video! Definitely had a hard time getting through layer 3 so was curious to see how you went about it. In my experience some of the vendor powers can be worth buying over the random orb, eg "The Last Blade" option you had at 10:48 gives 25% evis damage.
That's a great point. Thanks for sharing, I definitely should've looked more into the ones available.
Each vendor has different things in the shop to so if you see The Last Blade I think you should always pick it up, Because it will props not show up on the next vendor.
The two most insane ones are jack of all trades, which when you pop shadowblades you get adrenaline rush and vendetta as well! And forgot the name but one of the most insane ones turns your distraction into an AOE nuke, like 24-50k crits. I have 171 gear score and can say the elites if you pull one of them you can mange them easily, but like if you go for killing everything it's up to rng with the power ups and mob layouts, I think your method is safer even if it leaves you weaker for the end boss.
Palumor the legend!! Love the videos bro you’re single handedly keeping me interested in wow keep it up!
That's super kind, I'm glad I can do that for you!
FYI: There are a lot of power ups in those mobs you skipped, not to mention phantasma (vases have phantasma too). Unless you get the power that allows you to see which ones have them, you'll have to kill everything to max out your anima powers. Going into the final boss with 13 power ups? You can have around 30 going into the final boss. You'll need them when you get to layer-6.
This is super outdated sorry man! Was using all my week 1 knowledge, learned tons since.
The elite mobs are often the ones that have powers on them. The see through stealth mobs see mostly in front of them. You can distract and sneak fairly close behind them. When there are the packs of 2 elites, you can pull most of the little mobs with shuriken without aggroing the big guys. Once you have the big guys, distract them away from you, sap one then kill the other. If you accidently aggro both just blind one. You can also leave a few of the little mobs to funnel combo points into the big guy.
Soothing darkness is also quite handy.
Also anyone who happened to pick necrolord, the bone spike powers are a trap lol 500% * 0 is still 0.
tl;dr utilize your rogue abilities to make larger packs manageable. The bosses are stunnable unless you take too long.
Great feedback! Thanks for sharing. :)
thanks for the video mate.
I had trouble clearing this one too. I mean it was day 2 with ilvl 155 or so. Sepsis and Sub kinda suck in thorgast for the endboss.
Yesterday i switched to kyrian and those animaboni I just saw in your video for the covenant ability are great.
I wonder if the Animabonus "Unceasing Chain Link" buffs your Echoing Reprimand. I think this would be efficient to buff since the dmg is super high and you got a good boost through % boni.
Anyway, feels good to see that I am not the only one "struggling"
A dude of mine kinda one-shotted this boss with his covenant ability as an Owl ( he said one hit was about 60% of the boss life )...
Let's see how it goes with ilvl 176 and Kyrian next week, I am pretty excited :)
Lmao yeah, we are definitely all struggling out here. Us rogues seem to have been shafted in Torghast for now! The Echoing Reprimand power ups you can get are very nuts though! I did more testing yesterday and found that out!
@@Palumor I did it too. O M G
I just did about 50k ER -> Shadowbladesproc about 25k ontop.
I just cleared torghast this week pretty "easily". Glad I chose to be Kyrian/left Nightfae
@@shulai7097 Happy to hear! It's great right now for this!
what addons are you using? i really like your setup its simple but still kinda neat.
also any tips on gearing up? i switched from outlaw to sub and my ilvl is at 147 and still stuck bcs world quests only award anima.
Hey I use a couple addon videos, I could cover that in a future video. As for gearing up, I'd SUPER recommend farming honor right now. You can buy full 158 gear at the PvP vendors in Oribos and upgrade each piece twice up to 171 ilvl!
You should be braking all the vessels for more currency, you were leaving a lot untouched. Also when you are on vendors and inside their bubble you can reset your talents. That's good if you went for an aoe build during clearing flours and want to go st for the final boss. The bubble will not be there if you die and go for another try.
Yeah sorry, this is quite outdated with how much I know now!
Omigosh that bubble thing would have been so helpful to know on my last run. xD
I play sub, I kinda kill every thing in rooms, to get enough Phantasma to buy all the power ups orbs I can and the little power ups that are actually usefull.
It's quite insane the amount of "blue" or "Epic" power ups that are just garbage
I like cleaning everything for maximising my power and when I arrive at the first vendor I tend to have 500 to 600 fantasma sometime. When done shopping, you can get the 250 fantasma item to turn neutral ennemies into fantasma or something. Use it next to the vendor and he turns into 400 fantasma. A net 150 bonus if you can go for it. (I don tknow what using the item in standard floor would get you but I ve a feeling it'd be less).
Cheers!
Thanks for sharing. Appreciate the feedback. :)
Only thing id say is you wanna break the jars as you can to buy upgrades from vendors. Maybe not go out of your way but def help lower geared to get more chance to upgrade through vendor
I've definitely learned a lot more since that run haha! I'm considering re-making this type of video, but utilizing the resources much better!
@@Palumor new to you but loving the intros
Hey, as a sub rogue (zandalari troll) in order of getting full health i just blind the boss when i’m low and cast my racial spell. Plus you can wait all the blind to get your cooldowns up!
Hope this could help
Nice videos man, very enjoyable^^ Are you running sword oh? If so, in what situations is that ideal? Keep the videos coming!
I am running a dagger in OH now! It really doesn't matter enough to overthink it. :) I go for whatever mog I feel or whatever items are available!
Focus that animacharged combo point. You had 2 of the 3 you're looking for, unless I missed it. Animacharged point does 20 cp damage, Echo Rep is free, and the third is consuming animacharged cp resets echo's cooldown. If you are able to focus well, you can drop the 200k bosses in under 30 seconds.
I've responded to a handful of people about this. The anima charged point is great, and I will jump on it if I can catch it. In this situation I'm a little distracted because not only is the boss fight pretty fast pace but I'm also trying to do a live commentary and explain what's happening lol, because of shadow techniques our sub passive our auto's have a chance to generate combo points and it can make the anima point feel a little RNG based and unreliable to chase. Like I said, if it lines up that's great, throw a finisher quick, but I think focusing and playing around it is just distracting! Maybe in this case with the anima power up I got it should have a higher priority for sure though. :)
@@Palumor Don't sleep on Last Rite either. It will always (from what I've seen) be on the broker. I've had 4 on at once (each is +25% dmg to Evis), you can crit for 80kish on the anima combo!
Great video! Btw u can sap enemies with eye, just shadowstep and sap fast, pretty tricky but very easy to master.
That's a good tip! Thanks for sharing man
If that opener doesn't make you subscribe I don't know what else the man can do
Thanks. :)
Great vid Thx. For. Rogue sub you can use axe or sword on left hand? No use dagger is not a problem. If you have one on right hand?
It's really not a massive deal! Technically by the tiniest amount 2 daggers is the best. :)
Loved the intro great video too your awesome man!😊😎👌
Thanks Michael. Appreciate you.
Great job on the video Brother!! Keep it up
Thank you. :)
great walk through! video idea, maybe a short list of what people should be trying to max out weekly and what's the most beneficial things to stay current? just a thought, might not be enough there. cheers!
Appreciate it. :)
i m stuck on layer 2 lol, the final boss kept fucking me up (168 ilvl sub rogue) - > 184 atm. Didn't know about the remnant part, I believe I skipped all of them. Thanks to you I'll be trying to solo again later tonight, hope i'll get past it
Damn! Good luck man! :)
Subbed my man, great content keep pumping it out!
Really happy to hear that, hope I can continue to help. :)
"What a hard hitting ability" spoke too soon my dude
Hey dude. Would love some pvp guides!!.
Examples:
1) General 2v2 guide (Sub rotation with burst, without burst, 1v1 rotation, 2v1 (healer) rotation)
2) 2v2 Guide for specific comps
3) 3v3 guide for specific comps
4) Duel Guide against some classes
Mythic + guide (rotation) etc :)
Sounds awesome. I'll do my best to bring some of this to life! If you'd like, I have many old 2v2 videos posted from a mage PoV, playing mage rogue at the end of BfA. Although it's mage PoV, many of the strategies are still pretty universal in all PvP!
Thank you for doing all my thinking for me.
Anytime :)
Enema cells are great if you are in a party, 2 enema cells bought by each player means 10 enema skills for each player
I'd love to see a commentated M+ run
Hey Man, been binge watching your vids since I picked up sub rogue this expansion. Great work. Another vote for a keybinds/macro guide! Also could you segment your videos into different sections? so like in this video a section for floors, vendor and final boss would've been helpful. same for other vids!
Thanks a lot for the content!
Thanks for the feedback, means a lot man! I do definitely try different video styles in terms of editing. This was kind of a tester for the raw gameplay with few cuts. I'll have much variety to come! Macro video might be up next. :)
Great video but I do recommend always looking through the abilities before buying the plundered anima cell. “The Last Blade” buff is extremely useful. Increases the damage of eviscerate by 100%
Someone else had mentioned this, definitely the smarter choice haha. Thanks.
@@Palumor oh ok didn’t see that so I thought I’d try and help out. Great content creator by the way. Always posting very helpful videos
I am wondering why you have such high mastery when the stat priority for sub rogues is crit and vers mostly, also wondering why you're wearing a dagger and an axe, I've always played with 2 daggers. Thanks for this video it really gave me a whole new view of sub rogue!
My stat priority is whacky because the expansion is so new I actually haven't itemized/enchanted around it at all lol. Also in terms of the offhand, the impact of a difference it makes now a days is miniscule! The only reason you'd want a fast hand is for faster autos to proc your passive sub ability called Shadow Techniques but I prefer a cool mog as of now. :) Hope this helps.
@@Palumor Yes it did help me! I really enjoy your videos and how you explain everything so well! I also noticed the cheeky SeaShanty 2 in there from runescape and went to your older videos to see you're also into runescape and just now I was watching a previous vod from your twitch and heard you mention Anivia when the night fae ability happened in that 3v3 arena where your synapse let you down! So that means you're into League too! man dude you're so chill! Keep up the good work! I dropped you a follow I'm sure I'll catch you live sometime! I'll see you in twitch chat @Dinkerwoltz! I really do enjoy the content my man!
@@xTemari thanks so much :) yes I maxed on osrs and played tons of league! Ty for the kind words! See you around!
Destroying the urns also grants phantasma and its super quick-- worth doing if they're in your path and not adding an elite or anything silly to your time.
Great point. :)
This was actually very useful. Thanks man!
bruh I've been killing everything. Great to know I can pick and choose. I wasn't sure if I had to clear shit out.
I aim for the least work possible to be able to kill the boss!
Avoid elites; that's pretty smart. Playing a DH tank I tried to tank 3 of the elites at once, after a while they become immune to CC.
Very useful guide, thank you
Happy to help! Thanks
Have you ever met on 4-5 floor area with platforms on the air, where you can get only with grappling hook? this is insane, cause there are 5 mobs with an elite, who you can not skip, this is instant defeat! :D Nice that you done with that, but my Outlaw rogue 183ilvl does not (with Night Fae), i take down only 30-50% HP of the last boss and then die... maybe I'll try with Sub spec :D
I do know about that grappling hook! Super cool. :) Best of luck as sub! Torghast is rough for Rogue right now with our powerup options.
@@Palumor i meant , there are Torghast floors where you need to get a rope and jump to platforms which hang in the air... and on the platforms there are 5-6 group of spirits that you can not skip in stealth - very hard type of the floor! I will do my best, thanks! :)
@@alexeleave4551 Oh damn! I didn't actually know about that! Sounds cool though lmao, good thing you found out. :)
@Palumor Woohoo! I swapped to Sub rogue and done 3 Level Torghast with 131 ilvl daggers, lol! What a great single dps!
@@alexeleave4551 Woo! Happy for you!
Verry useful keep up the good work !!!
tbh you kinda get rewarded for taking your time with torghast and clearing every floor. i get it that people think its tedious but its just like a roguelike game where some runs end up op as heck and others you just cannot progress. fully clearing floors yields more phantasma though (for the brokers) and random mobs can actually carry anima powers, too, with the elites having a higher chances of having them. certain packs i do recommend skipping but most floors should be fully cleared and it becomes really much easier.
and as for the spamtargetting the sentinel...they have a stacking aura with a huge range so every time you get a stack you automatically target him if you have no target.
I agree with you at every point here. I learned SO much more about Torghast runs since this video. Just wanted to help due to request since I could solo it at the time!
Two tips: 1) Use gloomblade, you are not hitting them in the back, 2) Use numbing poison, you usually do not benefit from crippling
I disagree! I think gloomblade is by far the worst pick in the first tier. As for the poison you're absolutely right, I had learned about this shortly after uploading my PvE dps guide. :) Thanks for the feedback!
@@Palumor I agree gloomblade is the worst, but in Torghast you do not get to hit in the back so that is the only place I use it in.,
I found it really easy as an Assa rogue, using leeching poison really helps on the bosses and there are some really strong boss killing traits!
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!
A couple of elites in a pack I avoid them but a single elite is worth killing imo for possible anima power drop. You have to get lucky with right anima powers to kill the last boss I feel like.
Thanks dude, im trying clear lvl 2 with a plate class tactic, now i will try be a rogue xd
Haha good luck!
As an assassination rogue going sub, am I seeing this right? At 20:04, I see in your cast sequence that you use Shadow Dance twice? Is that for dmg increase? Or are you really just using Shadow dance once?
That's just the AddOn TrufiGCD picking up weird things! Probably picking up that I use Sdance and some other aura bonus from it!
Last run I had such a good bonus combination: the one with kyrian ability hit for 20 cp and shadowstep increases dmg for next finisher by 400% (some other decent stuff aswellI) did 100k Evis Crits with that.. literally nuts
Oh man, that setup is so freaking fun. The 400% shadowstep ones got to be my favourite.
Clean video, easy to follow and understand, great flex on the dog... And girl I suppose. Pop off homie
When it comes to power ups I have found the best prio for me is specific damage buffs>defensive bonuses>other damage buffs>bad defensive bonuses>movespeed>mawrat buffs. My issue is that I die before the boss dies so the hp helps wildly
Interesting. Thanks for sharing man. :)
I had no idea Torghast was difficult, I play as BM monk so just spin through it. The whole boost thing in /2 makes sense now
Lmao yea, it gets rough out here!
I cant complete twisting corridor because my anima stacks dissapear
Yeah, I leveled my BM monk just to do the 144 levels. Didn't do any torghast on him since, but it was the easiest path to the maw mount.
VERY helpful. Thanks!
Thanks for the support Nick!
Hey man, thankful guide! Just wandering what addon or weakaura are you using to see the kidney/cheap shot duration on the mob?
Thanks for the support man! The addon might be BigDebuffs, I have a macro and addon video though where I go over all!
I really like torgast as sub rogue, cleared this weeks lvl 3's on first try solo. tho i cleared all not leavin a single mob alive for more pts, and some elites do drop powers, and i found Recuperator conduit useful in torgast
I also had an easier time this week! It seems like if you slow it down and grab all the power you can get it works wonders! Rogues definitely are still one of the weaker powerup classes in there though from what I've heard!
Man, even after the nerf I’m having trouble with the 3rd floor. Can’t get the final boss down, however I didn’t really focus on power ups. I was pressed for time and just stealthed through most of it, which is likely why I had such a hard time.
I would just slow it down! Kill as many things as you can and collect all the powerups! I believe in you man.
@@Palumor Yeah, it was just because I was rushing. Cleared 3rd and 4th level quite easily. Thanks for the response!
@@dannyd806 Of course!
Hey great stuff learned a lot. BTW would like to know what's that addon that shows the skills you've used? Thanks!!
Thanks, happy to help. The addon is called TrufiGCD!
@@Palumor What's your suggestion for killing the boss Observer Zelgar on floor 3 of Soulforge, he has 288k Hp and does that eye beam ability where you cannot dodge T_T. I killed him on floor 2 when he had 250k HP with cheat death and good anima power rng, but on floor 3, the debuff that ticks 5% of your HP every couple of seconds will favor me picking Soothing Darkness over Cheat Death. 170 ilvl btw
GOD intro, made me laugh lmao. and i was in a bad mood xd, thnks for making my mood better :P
I appreciate you, so happy I can help!
best intro 10/10
Which addons do you use? I'm interested in the one that shows you stun and kick duration at the enemy health bar and the one that shows you combo points separately
Check my AddOn video! Those 2 are NugComboBar and BigDebuffs though!
does the addon above your action bars tell you what you just casted or what you should cast, and what is it called
It shows what I've cast. It's called TrufiGCD. :)
You are going places Palumor :D
Very helpful sir, thanks!
That means a ton to me! So glad I can help. :)
You can use another poison to make boss casts longer
Yeah Mind numbing > Crippling! I learned this later on lmao.
yo that intro, well done :D liked your content anyways but this made me subscribe. keep it up!
Thanks a ton. :) Glad you enjoy
i subscribed for that intro! that was so funny xD
You're funny!
Also not sure if you know how the covenant ability works I see you maxing out your combo points even after it only needs two combos to use the ability right as it lights up blue on the 2nd combo bar...can you explain why
Yeah, so usually the reason I won't go out of my way to land on those early points is because of 2 reasons. 1 I'm either focused on other things and accidentally skipping over it, or 2 I have cooldowns rolling and it's not worth my time to focus on landing on it when I could just go full out on my normal rotation. I have actually learned a lot more about this video though and I'm releasing a video specifically tomorrow morning about this! Hope that helps. In terms of struggling this week, my best advice would be maybe try soloing it! The scaling seems to get exponentially harder for the more members that are in your group. Meaning if you're capable of soloing it you should definitely give that a shot first. Let me know how it goes. :)
@@Palumor thanks for the reply
Ive tried layer 3 of soulforge so many times and can't beat the bosses. Our anima powers are SO bad. 165 ilvl too....how does blizz expect you to do this with no heals?
Don't give up! Really try to follow these tips: Utilize crimson vial early on so you can use it multiple times, use evasion early, cloak when you can't kick, and use full stuns every time you can. Although I do agree it seems rogue powers aren't that wicked compared to what my friends were getting it is still manageable! I believe in you! Good luck
This sounds awful, but keep running torghast like you normally would and hunt for the boss arch suppressor laguas. He is by far the easiest boss and that’s how I beat both layer 3s
@@roskatwow What sounds awful?
@@Palumor I beat Synod and I think another boss layer 1 and 2 soulforges, and layer 1 upper, last week around ilvl 150 as combat, ended up kiting around with pistol shot waiting on vial to come back up. Could not do layer 3 at all or even 2 on upper. I am honestly annoyed how easy you seem to run this compared to me considering I've spent an hour+ on runs killing absolutely everything on every floor. You can sap elites except for the constructs. You probably missed a rare on floor 1, there's a chain that goes up to a platform you can see on the mini-map.
I picked the Night Fae covenant and almost every bonus for it is useless, the offensive ones turn it into an aoe. The best one resets CD on adrenaline if the full duration ticks down.
@@Palumor I am 180 now and failing on first floor of skoldus hall. Just going to reroll I guess. Played this char every expansion but I simply cant keep up with torghast without begging friends for help
Much respect for this guide! i've been struggling as sub.
Awesome. Really happy to hear I could help. :)
Loved the guide! As a hunter though it was way more involved than what I'm used to. I can sleep through all levels of torghast on the hunter....because ... hunter
Great video man. Cheers!
As a sub rogue on layer 4, I fight elites with no problems :/ sometimes you must pull one mob at a time, and when you have to fight 2 elites that are fighting you can blind one, kill the other and then vanish for example... The only problem I see in torgast is the randomness of the powers you receive... Last week on layer 3 on the 1st wing I've managed to kill the boss on two shadowdances, on the 2nd wing layer 3 I've died 4 times with the boss at less then 5% (think it had an enrage mode) and only managed to kill it on the last attempt and this time it was me that had less than 5%... Tbh I enjoy torgast, think it plays out like Diablo which is nice... :P
Definitely seems RNG heavy for rogues as of now. It's a nice little mini game though to get through, 100x better than visions for sure.
Please tell me what the addon is that you’re using to call your next attack. I noticed it at the beginning of dungeon. It’s like a DPS rotation helper or something?
Hey! It doesn't call my next attack, it just displays what spells I use after I press them! It's called TrufiGCD.
@@Palumor good to know. I have being playing assassination spec and man it needs a buff big time. I went over to sub same gear and DPS went way up. It’s a lot harder to play though.
@@jhonwayne1003 I bet haha, the styles must feel different! I plan to cover assassination and outlaw shortly in the future!
I've done the 2 sides of Torghast friday, with ilv 145, and i gotta be honest, it was one of the most difficult things i've ever done, i'm main assassination but that spec is dead in shadowlands so i switched to sub, but im a Venthyr, and venthyr upgrades sucks in Torghast, Kyrian is sooooo much stronger, um thinking about changing :c
I completely feel where you are coming from. Kyrian owns in Torghast! Good luck with whatever decision you go with!
That was so fuckin smooth on the boss kill. Subbed.
Glad you went for the ability display Addon. It really does help alot !
is it weird that im pretty average at the game in general, but ive only had trouble with one specific thing in torghast and it was the slime boss at the end of mortregar? everything else is just a breeze. I actually thought this was intended to be primarily solo content and you could just group to have a little extra fun and goof off
I don't blame you dude. The slime guy took me 5 tries when I did that one!
Do you think weaponmaster or premeditation for M+? I’m doing like solid 2.8-3k overall dps with weaponmaster but it’s so aids to keep pressing slice and dice
Just posted a video that will be live in about 6hrs where I mention how I love premed in M+ over weaponmaster!
You're not running secret technique? That made a big difference in my torghast runs.
The single target value from Master of Shadows is so much more significant imo!
@@Palumor I feel like it really doesn't actually lol. You should really try secret technique. Clears mobs easily which is mostly what you do in torghast anyway.
@@gentle_singularity The reason I disagree is because the trash was never difficult for me. Whereas in the boss fight I felt it was most important to have the most DPS possible and I had struggled taking multiple tries. Of course the AoE ability is better for AoE, but I think it's far less important. I will probably mess around with it as some point though!
Wow, great video, subbed!
I main a rogue ...did 3 wings runs easy solo ...after this Tuesday not sure what they did but I cant even clear level 1 this week even tried with 3 other people in my group we wiped
Always picking the orb from the vendor is not the way to go. The 125 things are also anima powers that can be really good. Also if you dont kill all the mobs (that you can kill) you get alot less phanstasma to spend at the vendor. And now even if I try to get as much bonus as possible as a rogue some bosses on specific levels can't be killed....
Learned a ton since this video trust me lol. I think I might need an updated one!
