- Our resident writer, Azam Hisham, managed to speak to Warpaint when they were playing their showcase in Kuala Lumpur on the 12th of February 2014. Hosted by Soundscape Records, Warpaint spoke about their trip to South East Asia, prior to being musicians, and about their latest record.

fuck i miss the show. shite
very awkward interview, man
Slight language barrier.
Where did you get this interviewer? He looked & sounded like he just got off from a 12-hour train ride.
He was picked up from 1992 and brought to 2013 via transcendendal cotton candy.
It's an honour to have them coming down to Kuala Lumpur. Thanks so much to Soundscape. I've missed this gig, damn.... Was hoping the interview would be more fun? ;)
list of inanimate objects that have better luck in life than me: that paper or cardboard thing theresa is holding against her mouth
awkward interview.
Slight language barrier.
thewknd Would help if Azam, speak up a bit when doing an interview I guess.
After watching the interviews I did with Mac Demarco and Mew, I think you're right mate, I was real mellow here wasn't I. Thank you brade, Imma be sure to remember to keep energized!!! (exclamation marks are necessary from here on, : )
azam Hisham No worries bro, happy to help :)
come to Indonesia Please !!
AGREE!
Emily and Theresa have been to Indonesia before. Please come back again and bring the whole crew this time. Your Indonesian fans are really really looking forward to your crazy performance.
DISAPPOINTING... when those girls go make interview with big UK press people and big magazines covers shits they find the energy to answer the questions... now that they are in poor Kuala Lumpur, they seemed like very annoyed by the questions which made the interviewer even more uncomfortable, knowing his already making a effort to speak english, I felt uncomfortable watching this interview, step by step they will, indeed, start to reveal to the public...
Sad
I don't know what you're talking about. They're answering the questions the same as they always do. The fact that you find this interview awkward is what is awkward.
haha.. poor Kuala Lumpur.
i think it was just the guy who interviewed them. you can tell he dosent do it often so he was nervous in front of FOUR beautiful girls. also i dont think the questions were clear enough to get the answers they could really respond to
cringeyyyy
