I'll be real with you chibi, I've read alot of light novels and I mean alot, but there are only 3 light novels that have caught my attention and my personal favourites, overlord, omniscient reader's viewpoint and the lord of mysteries, nothing else😂😂
I am reading this story as well. One of the best and most intriguing stories I have seen. The MC is somewhat unique, his backstory is unique, the powers are unique, and the world and setting is just unique. The enemies are unique as well. I also love how mysterious the final bosses are. We can’t tell if it is either the constellations or something else. At first, the constellations seem like the final bosses, but the world is some expansive that I wont be surprised if it turns out to be something… else.
Omniscient reader is one of my favorite series of all time at the moment. The writing is on a level I've never experienced, and it would make sense that the author foreshadowed this being such a deep story to the point that it will actually have over 1000 chapters, exactly like Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World. I'm all for it because of how much I enjoy it.

Even anime fans who refuse to read any korean comics know about SL, probably because of the anime adaptation, but almost none of them know anything about Omniscient Reader :(
I just really like rereading chapter 10 ( the one where Joonghuk interrogates Dokja about him being a prophet while dangling him over the side of a bridge), at that point i knew the writing would be PEAK.

This story is quite the think piece: - Kim Dokja is the protagonist in ORV according to us readers, but he's just a side character in the story he's reading (turns out he didn't finish the story before getting isekai'd into it) - the story he's reading has 3 MCs - while he is the most resourceful character in the story we're reading, he's not the most powerful. IMO he's only comparable with his timeline's version of the MC, but there's always a stronger and more powerful version of the MC - the result is that we have two characters whose progress through the story cannot be stopped, because they're overly familiar with their world. One because he's lived through it countless times, and the other because he's literally reading the story in advance - it felt to me like regressor MC was also a villain quite often (or at least, a version from another timeline coming to this one) - sometimes Dokja has to take power-ups the MC is supposed to take further into the story, so that he can keep up. - the storytelling is really good, with the many MCs all getting the limelight without interfering with each other's shine - very interesting opposition. Not generic - story touches a lot of cultural lore and mythology from different parts of the world (our world) 10/10 recommend

Of note, Sun Wukong is a constellation who doesn't belong to any group of constellation. He's a very rare truly independent entity, yet with influence comparable to the greatest constellations of the top Nebulae(constellation groups). That's how big of a deal Sun Wukong is.
One thing you should really keep in mind, Dokja doesn't like the restrictions of something like choosing a constellation to support him or choosing a Nebulae to join. Like you said, he's more like a freelancer hahaha. He wants to achieve everything in his own ways.
