God is love! I have learned that it is not just checking off the boxes. It's leading with Love. Do what feels good in your soul. Do things that you love to do with a pure heart. When I feel like I have to follow all these rules, it makes me feel bad if I don't, and I start judging myself, which is the worst for me. I try my best to be in the moment and do what is best/ right in that moment. Know God is with you in each moment. It's a journey, and I'm still in it!!! Sending love your way.
It’s tough. I grew up in the church too. It’s just part of Southern culture. But something happened in college, I talked to other people from other religions, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc & it all sounded like they knew the right way but just happened to be born in a different circumstance…just trying to figure out the right path themselves. Then I talked to Atheist & I felt like they were missing something. I eventually became an agnostic because one day I woke up & realized everyone can’t be right & wrong at the same time. Plus I feel like there’s way too much evil and not enough good in this world to have 1 being just in charge of it all. But that’s just me. I feel like whatever religion you pick, whether it’s Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism etc and you follow it & it makes you happy & gives you purpose then you found the one. And if you’re agnostic & not sure or just don’t need religion to live day by day that’s ok too. Or if you’re atheist & completely denounce religion that’s fine too. As long you’re respectful to others and not demeaning then it’s all good. Just know you don’t have to beat yourself up about believing in a faith. That’s the most important part. ❤
Hi. Thanks for sharing how you feel. I just want to encourage you to intently seek that relationship or experience you want with God and I can assure you that you will find it. God always says in his word that those who seek him will find him if you search for him with all your heart (Deuteronomy 4:29, Proverbs 8:17, Jeremiah 29:13)❤️
Keep holding on to your faith girl ❤God is sooo real and He desires intimate relationship with you . Ask Him to reveal Himself to you, sincerely. He sees you and is watching over you. Just continue to seek Him and cling to Him. 🙏🏼 Don't give up on Him and don't mind any friends etc that seem like they are living life and everything is peaches and cream because in eternity, it won't be peaches and cream at all if they don't. have genuine relationship witH God. Jesus loves you and wants you all in for Him. 🙏🏼🙌🏼

I’m praying for us. I promise you He is there. And I wouldn’t be surprised if you have received that experience you’ve been asking for. You have to be mindful often times he’s not going to show up how you want Him to. But he’s definitely going to do what you asked if your heart is pure”. I have so many testimonies it’s Crazy. I just have to say don’t just count the big wins count the small ones too. Here recently I was having a conversation with myself not even really talking to God. Simply with myself like “I want to experience this abundant life God promised” and long story short not even 10 mins later Jeremiah 7:5-7 was on my phone’s screen (AND KNOW I DIDN’T GO SEARCHING FOR IT) I firmly believed He’s always actively present with me and always in communication. It’s the breakthrough that takes time and requires patience. Stay Encouraged sis WE GONE BE ALRIGHT! 💕 I would love to meet you.

I usually don’t comment but I feel led 💖 continue to seek God, the fact that you feel that way but want to know the truth says a lot. What you feel are normal feelings of a baby in Christ or someone who struggles with what the world says vs the TRUTH. Which is Jesus 🙌🏽 continue to pray and ask God to reveal himself, he is doing an inner work in you and you will experience his tangible presence. God looks at our heart, seek him with your whole heart and you will find him. The enemy wants you to have these thoughts so you can go further and further away from the truth !! The fact that you were able to recognize how far away you got means God is still pulling you near (Philippians 1:6). He is with you daily and will never leave your side . This is not a works based religion there is nothing you could do to ever have him NOT love you or experience his presence he just wants all of you ❤ so don’t allow false teachings or perceptions to steer you astray sis. God is realer than you reading these comments 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 and he LOVES YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE 💖💕❣️ he’s after your heart 🥰
