Hey guys, quick question. Are ATM machines widely available in Ponta Delgada? Do you find it a better value to just bring our ATM cards from the US and make withdrawals at the ATM in Azores or should we convert monies before we leave the US? Thanks in advance!
Raul M yes there are ATM all over this is a tough question because carrying a lot of money is not the best idea when traveling. The best adviser that we can give is bring some money already exchanges for the first few days and then withdraw as you need it, a little heads up is let your bank know were you are going so no issues occur . The way we do it is we have a Bank here so we just transfer it from bank to bank. Hope that helps all the best 👍😎
