remember a Lebanese I worked with in Vancouver in the mid 90s was a son of a Lebanese christian falange general , he told me when he went to school in the 80s in Beirut, he was driven to school in a Soviet ex syrian T-55 in the 80s. His classmates had the nice Euro luxury cars but his tank was the best hahah.
