I just got the gladio today. Wanted to drop by and say, this pedal is AMAZING. The dynamic feel is like nothing I've felt from an overdrive pedal/preamp before. Great product!!
I’ve just bought one through Max Guitar as I was so desperate to get one. I was torn between both models but the clean knob just sold it for me. I can’t wait to try it now! 🙌
@@cornerstonegear Very nice! I think I should have bought the Gladio V2.1 as I only like one drive pedal. Going into a twin may have given me more options. Looking forward to what may come in the future! 🙌
@@mr.d.572 The dual will be more versatile if you need more drive for a higher gain D tone. I don't care for the second channel as much, so I gravitate towards the SC and pushbot with a BB preamp when I want more and it can be very Dumbly, depending on pick attack.
@@cornerstonegear Robben ford for me, so what you advice me? i have mad professor pedal suprem, awesome, but too much "rock " for me? i m a student of Robben Ford, i know he uses SC for some rythmic part.
Hi! Just place a pre-order on our website. Actually we have pedals already in stock and ready to ship so as soon as you place the order I send you the invoice to pay for it and I can ship it to you. (btw: the price on your invoice will not be 279€. Since you are outside the EU you don't have to pay our taxes. So the price is 229€)
I can assure you it's a great combination! That's why we're making some video to show the Gladio SC + Antique, and most likely a double pedal with both :)
@@cornerstonegear make a video running different boost pedals into this. Tubescreamer, Bluesdriver BD2, Rangemaster... I got to get this pedal, sounds great. And maybe demo the pedal with a 335.
@@To.Si.Ma. yeah, basically if you search videos of the imperium you can see how the Gladio SC works with a TS style pedal. The imperium is our Gladio SC + Antique (our TS pedal).
Same sound, with the added clean volume knob. If you put it all the way down you can have the same sound as the Gladio 1st channel. But if you raise it, you'll have a lot of different new sounds...
I have heard a hundred Strats through a hundred of these types of pedals, and they all pretty much sound the same. Guess what, tons of gutiarists don't play Strats. Okay, lets say I don't want to sound like SRV, how doe's your pedal actually sound doing something else???
I have the single and the double Gladio and play them into a Two Rock traditional clean.... My search for "the sound" is over.....
Wow awesome rig man!! Thanks for your feedback I'm glad you like them
The Gladio SC is one of my favourite pedals, awesome playing Awesome Tone ❤🎸

Thanks so much for your feedback!! ❤️
Fabulous playing. Loved it!
Very good playing - the foundation of a good pedal-demo. My "Imperium"-Pedal will arrive tomorrow and I am very excited.
Great pedal and nice playing!
Grazie mille Stefano

Just bought myself one. It’ll arrive in a few says.
Can’t wait to try it out. 👍🏻
Awesome
Oh lord... This is increíble!
I have both, the dual amd the SC. Best blues and clean sustain pedal I have ever played.
Same here. The sustain is unreal
Which one is warmer / better for a Dumble-style sound?

La mano di marco petta è troppo riconoscibile
Which of the 2 pedals would give me a warmer, more Dumble-esque sound? The Gladio SC or the Double Preamp?
Hi! that's a very good questions... it mainly depends on what kind of "dumble" sound you're after. What artist? Robben Ford? SRV? Larry Carlton?

Nice!👏🎸
Grazie Massimo! 😉😉
The pedal sounds great. How does it pair with a solid state amp like the Roland Blues Cube?
I've never tried it with a Roland blues cube yet, but so far it's proven to sound great with basically every amp...
So where in northern Italy are these amazing works of art engineered?
Thanks!! We are in a small town called Ispra, on the Lake Maggiore
Nice vid and sounds... Emilio, can you tell us the signal chain used in the video? Or at least, which amp is being used? Thanks a lot!!
Hi! The signal chain is very simple. Just guitar, pedal and the Kemper (in this video a profile of the fender Bassman has been used)
What is the difference between versions of SC with the comp toggle in the two different locations (below knobs vs between knobs)?
No difference. The very early units had the toggle switch placed between the knobs and I thought it could not be really comfortable
How can i get one? Sold out everywhere in the US! I think you are on to something big Emilio!

Btw, what amp are you running into here?
Great combination
Thanks!! A kemper was used here with a bassman simulation
@@cornerstonegear thank you!
How could you run this through a fm3
What amp is used in this demo?
It's a fender Bassman
Ι would love to drive a TS into this, into a slightly hairy amp and see where this takes me

You don't necessarily have to sound like SRV if you get the Gladio SC. Ask Robben Ford, he uses the Gladio SC. And he doesn't sound like SRV.
