      @@highlandcycles I just looked at that video about the top end rebuild it’s on the two stroke for some reason I thought it was on a 250 four stroke . I think I’m going to go with the 3 1/4 inch for my 78 mm piston.

    Do the bolts at 8:24 hold down the round part on powervalve tightly? Mine have a bit of play and I wonder if I need to shorten my bolts so it holds down snug.

    Great video👍🏻
    Question. I have a 2004 Yamaha yz125 I was told the are a few different size of pistons those bikes take how do you tell which one your bike takes? This would make a great video by the way..

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles 5 месяцев назад

      Originally its stamped on the cylinder. A B C or D. If that is worn off you have to measure but the reality is that the difference in size is almost negligible. I almost always use a B piston.

      @@highlandcycles thanks for the response. I measured the cylinder last night and mine is a 53.4 mm which is an A so that what I just ordered right before I read this. But I will keep it in mind the next time redo the top end

      @@highlandcycles I'm aware of both and have both and have rebuilt both numerous times.
