Really well done presentation. I liked the style and confidence in the product. I have the fs111 and confirm it is a great machine. A beast actually. Thanks again.

Carl, can we adjust the valves on our own? Can you do a video about that for FS 111 R? That'd be great. Great video! You got me hooked when I saw your video about comparing 91R, 111R and 131R. I was gonna go with 131R, but read many reviews about being too much for the job. So, I settled on 111R after watching your video. Thank you so much.

Thanks for the terrific overview, very handy video with some maintenance advice I hadn't considered.

This was a well done video presentation. It would have helped if we had a close up of what you were servicing. Keep up the good work!

Mine has one year, runs on only amsoil saber 1.8oz per gallon, regularly adjust the valves and its running like new! Amazing torque, amazing fuel efficiency and very low vibrating. Great for really lost backyards here in Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷

Nice video.I have a FS91R where I changed the head.I pulled that steel plate up and there was a ball bearing underneath. Does it matter where the ball bearing goes. There does not appear to be a set spot.

I have a Kombi 111R string trimmer attachment along with a blower and a hedge trimmer attachment. Where is the grease point on the gear box for the trimmer? I see it on the hedger but there is nowhere to grease on the trimmer piece.

Is this fine to use upside-down for edging? Or will it have issues that some other 4 strokes have?

So mine makes sort of a bell chime and ringing noise when at idle. What's that about?

Does STIHL make a 4 cycle that uses non Mix gas? Thanks

  • @davidpavshak330

Does the 111 need to be ran wide open like the 91? Or does it have a better variable throttle than the 91?

Wear a full face shield when weed trimming if you are hitting bare dirt? Safety glasses won’t do the job completely. Eyes are hard to replace and repair
