Best album ever made? I'd say so. I'm Australian so I never got to see them. I played one of their songs at skate party in Sydney once and Jeff Grosso came over and introduced himself to me. I completely fanned out. He said he couldn't believe he'd travelled to the other side of the world to hear one of his favourite bands. He was a legend. So are the Angry Samoans
These guys are the best. I first heard them circa 1990 when I was in high school and part of the tape trading community. That was what we did in the old days back before the internet when we wanted rare stuff
Bet you won't believe this. My first time hearing them, I was 13. My grandfather had taken me to a record store in downtown Chippewa falls wisconsin. Yeah, look that town up. Anyway, coolest grandpa ever. He used to "rent" records and record them to tape for me. Wish I still had some of those tapes. They either were played to death or loaned out and never returned. Either way, Punk rock don't stop! Fuckin get it?
Just a shame the green haired goblins at that punk rock museum in Las Vegas had to call political view points fun,our music was never meant for posers that try to sell our youth...never meant for us to be an MTV style sell out.
I hope your night was musically full filled This is a great " fry" album. I did a lot of lsd back in the mid to late 80s and loved listening to this album along with other great punk bands.
Amazing...i like this later angry samoans a little better than older.Conceptual yet bluesy so good.Makes me know these guys always had talent since i grew with them at shows when i was a kid.
I love this band. When I first heard about them people always trashed this album saying its so much worse than the first 2. I don't think so. I got most of their stuff on the unboxed set CD. I'm so lucky it's probably expensive now. Actually I checked and its cheap as hell! Hurray!
its a great garage punk album. these guys could seriously play...especially drummer Bill V. Tried to do a Samoas cover band for Halloween and it soon became a Dicks cover band. Called Shit On Me. Its on here somewhere. that Alice Cooper is better than Alice Coopers version...and i love early Alice Cooper band. Not their best, samoans fix it up
fuckin sheep, were on the rag. they didnt like change...this album could come out tomorrow and be a solid garage/psych punk album. everything after was more metal mike solo. gotta have turner and homer. i think bill, one of punks great drummers, stuck it out awhile. two words: STUN GUITAR
@Metal Mike Saunders Thanks for the insight into the recording process! All music now seems overproduced by strait A students and approved by Bill Gates. Except for the Chinese pop music which has made all previous music and cultural history obsolete. Fab playlist!
I’ve eaten so much acid and listened to this album so many times in the early 90s great memories definitely in my top 5 of greatest punk/hardcore albums ever made also on the list is Darky Dark and the Junkie Bunch album “27 Club” another great album to jam while on L.S.D. do yourself a favor and go listen to that album now it’s on RUclips. You’re welcome 💯✊PMA✊
I have a cassette version of this. Ive never seen or heard about it amywhere else tho for some reason. Its definately not along the lines of "inside my head" or "back to samoa" maybe thats why...

I listen to this at least once a week. Not sure if it's the best album ever but it's definitely in the top ten
Super underrated album. Metal Mike is a musical dictionary.

2nd favorite record ever!.. and only because Back From Somoa is #1
Thank you for posting. Love this band. I was in the S CA punk scene in the 80s and always regret not seeing these guys.
they still play in LA and LB
Thanks for the heads up. I will keep an eye out for them.
Playing Viper Room with Rhino-39, and Luicidal this weekend. Should be a killer show.
You can thank Rodney for that.
Upon listening to this and from two points in earlier songs I think it safe to say that these dudes are one of 'Agent Oranges' main inspirations.
Mate at 41yo they are my inspiration now, 2020 coronavirus bs propaganda...worlds gone mad🤦🏻♂️

I'd say Dick Dale was Agent Orange"s inspiration...

Meta Mike told me the legit cassette version is what the band intended it to sound like. The record was poorly mastered. by someone in charge.
Gud old days =)
Metal Mike told me cassette version sounds way better than the record. which lost something when the master tapes were transferred.
Me Beewack is still my friend
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hm, having previously only been familiar with some earlier Angry Samoans music, I gotta say this reminds me of the Du a little bit in some places.
Dude !

Egyptomania!!!
Two comments too soon
Liked this one better than "inside my brain"...Was more to the point although the other was the only great concepts song about human frailty.
Just feel sad for the kids growing up with this talentless,no point, and noise they are hearing today on their tumor boxes...idiocy and pointlessness.
Coming from a gate keeper and grand pop of the original scene...it's time to educate real hardcore to these kids.
