St. Louis will always be my home. I've lived here my whole life. All my 23 years of living, I've called St. Louis my home. I love it here.
Yeah just keep yo a** in West County, St. Charles, or wherever the hell you’re from and you’ll be alright.
The guide to surviving St Louis
-Stay strapped at ALL times
-Show respect to everyone
-Don't fuck around on the highways or you get shot at

I used to live in St.Louis. The people there are very selfish. My family is very selfish as well. Because of this mentality, people have less regard for each other. The circumstance might be due to the lack of resources. Also, some people in St Louis have a tendency to develop an envious attitude toward each other because one is doing more successful than the other. Consequently, one might resort to violence. If you want to succeed in the city, start your own business and then relocate to another place. That is what I have done a long time ago. Sometimes you just have to move on.
Joe Hudson you SPOKE!!✊🏾
Joe Hudson I’m from here and I totally agree these mfs are so selfish.
what the fuck are you talking about? we love each other in stl
Joe Hudson I’m glad you made it out.. the place is wicked
Nigga that's everywhere in the trenches. 💯 foh
I was born and raised there in stl (314) and it's not as bad as ppl make it it has it's bad sides and good i mean there are some really bad sides but if you know the area you know not to go there
I agree for the most part most people know where not to be after 10 or 11 at night.
Pfft or go Creve Coeur etc and that's the better side of STL

The Grand Unchallenged Sword Yo grab me a slice from LaNovas
1 Deep funny thing is, La Nova delivers anywhere in the world within 36 hours now. What you ask could very well happen. Just call them. It'll arrive coldpacked and half cooked. Just pop it in the oven for a half and Bam! That good ol Westside classic. And you know the wings is on point too. Just hit em up. Explain what I told you and they should ship. Just remember that that shit is expensive here, so I can only imagine what the price is on the air express.
The Grand Unchallenged Sword thank you so much I live in STL and we need it
The Grand Unchallenged Sword Hell yea bro
Respect to St Louis from Florida
I lived in STL for 16 years and I can say that it is one of the great city, lot of beautiful century old buildings , just don’t go the the ghetto parts of town and every things will be good.
I’m not from ST Louis, I’m from East ST Louis. , but I know how it goes North city, south city just sad. They call it dodge city for a reason
I’m from the LOU and I’m still proud 💨 if you can survive STL you can survive anywhere! I got nothing but love for my people 🖤 when you see me salute me baby because we still at war!
I'm an old white woman..born in another state..came to STL as a teen when my dad found a job here. I've seen a lot of changes since 1971.. I watched Kinloch go through it's problems.. There was a lot of stealing city funds from those who ran the city... it's a shame. I've lived other places and countries..and some have some nasty issues(like when I lived in the Middle East)..but of the US..St Louis has a lot of stubbornness, narrow-mindedness, and prejudice{on both sides}. It is something that visitors notice right away. My daughter-in-law is black and she refuses to return to STL..as attitudes are crappy. I live in NOCO. The mayors and officials wonder what they can do to make this a good place for tourists.. ha. It is the attitudes of people that must change. It is a shame for a few bad behaving people to eff it up for everyone else.
Wow
Betty Boop
No shit WOW, that hurt
I completely agree! Narrow-mindedness is at the heart of the dysfunctional attitude of St. Louis. There’s a conservative mindset of the poor as well as the rich. Everyone wants to embrace their little piece of town and complain about those “other” people. Most St. Louisians don’t travel more than 20 miles away from home, unless, they’re on vacation. That’s only if they live in the county. If they live in the city, it’s closer to 10 miles. If the men would pull their pants up, stop impregnating stupid women, and focus on educating their children, the city would take off like a rocket. St. Louis is a perfect example of “victim-mentality” run amok.
You got it spot on. I remember visiting Miami and coming back to stl and getting this narrow-minded conservative vibe and I had never noticed it until I left stl and came back
Joseph Higgs St. Louis county is different than st Charles county bro. It’s a white suburban area with some of the safest crime rates and a great schooling system. Most black people who come here are fleeing the negative influences of the city.
I'm from St. Louis. I love this city and I now live in Chicago and it's all same. If we just come together and help each other out. Let's get this black and white out of our heads. As a white guy I get along with black people so much better. I love everything about them. Please let's get together and save our city together
I'm from st. Louis also I just moved to Chicago six months ago but I'm going back to the l o u I miss my city and my family
Mfd need to realize we all the same in every hood in America
We St. Louis, we are very underground. Underground with our violence, music scene, you name it. People so use to hearing about Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, and other cities that do get down. But St. Louis, it's literally just another world. We so violent it's to the point where we do embrace it cause it's just who we is. People be shocked when they learn about the city and how crazy it get. We got one of the damn most dangerous streets in the country, Natural Bridge Road. 13th most dangerous worldwide. But all sides different. East side hoods we put with the city too.
Natural Bridge and Grand, off the chain! Murders daily off natural bridge.
U a furry? Da fuq
yea we ain't known for our underground cuz it's the underground, nobody knows about it.

Born and raised in stl. Being a drug addict there, I saw all sides of the game. It’s no joke. I’ve lost so many people in my time there.
Me to I had to move to Florida to get clean and sober. 289 days clean off that fent today. Hope your clean and sober also or made it out. It was the only way to sober up and get my life together.
I'm so thankful no one had bothered me while I was staying there and walking the streets at night by myself.
Kayla Storey. You were bless. They must know your family. I remember when you walk in a neighborhood that you did not live. Someone in that neighborhood would ask who are you visiting. They request the family name (like it was their business) however, You provide that info, and would get escorted to their door. It did serve as security and they knew all these neighbors in the area.
I'm remembered the 90s where they made us take off anything red. I'm blessed to make it 30 years before leaving to Houston. I miss the low cost of living up there. It's expense & to spread out down here
@@midwestgrammar2941 who made u take off things that was red
The guy in the black shades was in college with me for a time. I don't know if he graduated, but I remember him as a cool ass dude. Yeah, he may be into some gangster stuff, but deep down, he is a super down to earth guy.

it's a lot of great minds in the hood..

I moved to the Lou in 1988 from New Orleans. I'm a retired veteran now, but the STL is home for me even though I don't live there anymore I still have and LOVE my city. The shirt ol'buddy was wearing was dope " NEGUS" in African that means KING...
The issue that has crippled St. Louis the most is crooked, greedy politicians, racism and social engineering. St. Louis has too many small counties and municipalities that have a TERRIBLE RECORD OF BRUTALITY AND RACISM TOWARDS BLACKS... as well as a long list of criminal politicians that are nothing but political gangsters. After getting a belly full of having friends and relatives murdered, and watching neighborhoods go down while crime soared up, I chose to find a place far away from The Lou. St. Louis - just like any other place - can be dangerous if you get caught-up outside your own lane, and the per capita murder rate speaks for itself. But, as tough as the streets of St. Louis are, I will ALWAYS love St. Louis, and there's really no place I would rather have grown up... because if you can make it living in The Lou, you can make it anywhere on the planet! REAL TALK!
Agree Truth STL has too many Municipalities. That would not have happened if there was no segregation. However, STL is not in the minority on segregation as I live in KC and it is WORSE, if you can believe it than the LOU. KC has the DMZ called Troost Ave and it is clear- whitey on the westside and the blacks on the eastside. Sadly, that will never change. What should happen is that STL county PD should take over all of the smaller municipal police departments as consolidating resources and a unified chain of command would provide better service to the residents. West county, U City can maintain their own departments. Having 70 or so PDs in the county is absurd!!!
Quit voting for them.
I've lived in the West 1300 Union (mid 2000s from 02-04) and North County (Chambers and Shepley 04-05 then Shepley and Spring Gardens 05-06) The West stayed the same until recently when they started trying to make STL better (gentrification) but it's still the West. However in NoCo my time there as a kid things changed drastically. Me being in NoCo 04-06 it was in the middle where Black People were just moving there so it wasn't all that bad. We used to ride our bikes all over and by Riverview highschool Shepley and Toelle we used to be careful and not be too loud because it was white people all over. Fast forward to 2013 I moved into one of the apartments that I used to ride by as a kid from. In those 7 years it's a completely different area. North County is becoming the city.
FACTS
Noco gets wild af
Noco is dangerous nowadays.
Yea but blacks been in NorthCo since 70’s
From Florissant used to be nice and if you were a minority you knew not to do anything in the county now since 05 north county is becoming the city sad to see.
My dude hit the nail on the head...
Stan Kroenke's $800 milli should build a few playgrounds and schools in our city!
I’m from Milwaukee but the most of my family is in St. Louis so the Lou is my second home....it’s real there. Come to Milwaukee, is very hood hood and ratchet here it’s fucked up in the Mil, ppl are hungry and willing to do whatever to come up smh
That’s every city bruh
The real problem with our city is that it’s been ran to the ground by a Democrat (Lacy Clay) for the past 20 years. The policies haven’t worked and has only increased homelessness and violent crime rates, hurt our public school system, and caused people who want a better life for their family to migrate deeper into the county. We call this white flight, but I’m black and I did the exact same thing. I’m from Normandy. Grew up off of Natural Bridge and Lucas & Hunt. As soon as I got married and had kids I left and moved to West County. The district I live is actually ran by a Republican (Ann Wagner) and you can see the difference. I don’t understand why we keep voting Democrat and expecting things to change in our communities. If these people I live around now start voting Democrat, I’m leaving and moving my family to a Republican ran city. Democrats can’t seem to run a city properly at all.
Born in south St. Louis. Lived in city of dell wood in north county from 1966 to 2014 . Now I live in St.Charles mo.
My mom stayed there in 60s til she passed. I was working. Graham paper co wen. New Busch pk being built. Raised so side. Later No. Then west end. Like. St l and newstead. Cates.
“Idiocracy” at it’s best....
St.louis isn't as it seems it's actually a great place but it has it's bad times also...but to get by in st.louis all you have to do is mind your business and watch your back.
I love Saint Louis- I was on the northside and southside a lot in the 80’s and 90’s no one messed with me.. I remember being downtown when the Cardinals won the World Series in 2006 for one night everyone got a long and celebrated- it was so amazing. Both north and south side have beautiful homes and they’re being ruined… it’s sad. Just to let you know I voted for Obama lol
keep voting Democrat dipshit. Half a century of morons like you is why we have crap like this. Pat yourself on the back libturd.
MO is a crazy place from KC to STL
Born and raised in East St. Louis. Stayed on both sides of the river. I think it's that Mid West life style. A message to all visitors keep your head on swivel.

I'm originally from STL, living in Scotland now. I grew up in Kinloch ,(ironically enough) went to St Martin's Daycare, right next to Holy Angels School. But for 1st - 8th grade I went to schools in Ferguson Florissant school district.
Then from there, I lived in North woods, on Roxie, it was all Normandy middle & high school. OMFG🤷♀️🤦♀️ I don't know how I got through that. Lol Class of 99 btw. It looks nothing like it did when I went there. They fixed it up real nice, don't know if the teachers are any better though.
Anyway, lived in Castle Point on Baron for some years. I loved it there, and never had any actual issues.
Then somehow I ended living in South City, in Dutch Town etc then Benton Park, then eventually out of the states altogether in 2016.
I do miss certain things about STL, like Cherokee Street and The Loop and Imo's. I just don't miss the attitudes.
Björklova81 how are you living overseas? Would love to -
@@threetimesfinal1618 Oh, started off going to school here, then visiting bk and forth. Over the time started building connections, which helped with getting work here eventually. X I'm not a citizen yet actually. I'm on a work visa and have two more years before I either go back to the states or become a British citizen. But yeah, you have to be here five consecutive years prior to citizenship.
I'm going to see about duel citizenship. But I'm not rich, or even well off, so doubt I could do that. 🤔

I stay in south county & not a day/ night goes by my ring app doesn’t have neighborhood alerts of random people trespassing, tossing cars, stealing cars, gunshots, the whole 9. They migrate from the city especially late night to come pray on county folks and try to steal whatever they can. Sometimes they’re on foot, sometimes it’s an entire car load and they jump out and all go separate ways checking cars or whatever they can. I ride my scooter in the city a lot and I jog on the north side sometimes at night but ya it gets rough
I used to stay on Penrose and Red Bud ave with my cousin for about 6 months walked all around besides a few notorious streets i was told to stay away from i can say i survived in North St Louis
Man, I'm off work today and ended up on Missouri RUclips videos.. I was born here, it not a bad place at all. I've been all over the United States and I have to say the Mid West is a pretty ok place. Of course you don't go hanging out in the wrong neighborhood, that goes for ANY city. I've had enough though..heading south.

The outskirts of St. Louis and certain counties around it are becoming worse as well. The area I live in which is about 25 minutes south of South side STL is becoming a bad place for Mexican extortionists and meth dealers. It has personally effected my life. Like VERY personal. The police let certain people commit horrible crimes but won't arrest them because they want to use them to catch the "bigger fish". A man who beat people if they didn't pay him didn't get arrested until he kidnapped a dog, beat him, and threw him in a ditch. He beat people for money while the police knew, but it took beating a dog to get arrested. The world is fucked. Anyway he's in jail now for beating the dog and also for felony gun charges.
Btw he snatched a wiener dog from a girls yard, tied his feet and mouth together, beat him, then threw him in a ditch in freezing temperatures. The dog is okay now and healthy.
North county is the hood
I like that you made this vid trey !!!!
I moved from St. Charles to Dutch town to escape a different type of violent situation.
But I don't understand why violence is moving down here too. There's been shootings down every other street it seems. And it feels like I can't leave my house mid day. I definitely can't move again so now I feel stuck in it. Again.

STL has had poor leadership since the 50's.. once a great city, mayors and city "leaders" have stolen from the people for decades, keeping the poor areas poor. Instead of a generation standing up and fighting the injustices by evoking change through elections, we continue to fall into the same trap year after year. CHANGE STARTS FROM WITHIN! Let's treat each other better, stop the random killings, and start rebuilding our communities instead of playing the blame game.
It's in place in DC right now. Keep the races divided. Create chaos and promise the minority that Dems are their only hope. Make a bunch of promises to the downtrodden around election time. Thanks for your vote now piss off. Somehow people still can't see the forest for the trees.

St louis is loosing its population ( tax payers). As soon as I can , I'm going too. Who'd want to move here ? Driving through on streets or highway is scary as hell. Cars running up on me, trying to intimidate me ! Had 1 gal this summer tried to run me off the road, swung her car into my lane, but obviously I was a much better driver than her. What a fool.! I doubt she has even license plates on her car. Yes, Stl ,you're a lost city.
if you speak English you are
accused of acting white a serious crime in st louis
Why do all these Channels who do videos on st.louis only view the north side ?
Cuz the North is popping. Always has been.
Bull shit thats a scare tactic to keep us segregated. Look I'm a white boy and I've always got along with everybody in stl from downtown to festus. North of arsenal 1 time. 3 black dudes I never met helped me push my car off the road when it broke down. Just dont do snake shit or act out of line and you'll be good. 314 for life.
Right all of them aren't bad at all
People need to understand that there is different parts to st.louis there is the city and the county
The county is an amazing place to live and it is very safe and suburban and then there is the city
@WORDto BIGbird ya fr that's what I was bout to say. And there's so much dope in North county it's rediculous. My white ass can't walk in the gas station without getting offered a free sample om lol
In 1972 while visiting St. Louis I saw a fine looking High School called Grover Cleveland HS with great architecture and it looked a little like Taft High School in Cincinnati only larger and more ornate. I wonder if it is still there? Taft High school has been remodeled and is still a current HS.
Cleveland still stands on South Grand it is haunted and very spooky on the inside now but still standing my mother went to that school
St. Louis isn’t that bad. I lived in one of these “hoods” with my GF and we are white. Nothing happened for 3 years, I even had a pretty nice car and it wasn’t broken into. The problem with Stl is that it’s really segregated. You don’t see a lot of mixing of races.
