At least someone out there still knows how to compose March music. So tired of hearing military and other bands play movie tunes.
Although I have heard the British play God Save the Queen and British grenadiers. And the Germans still play their historic marches. Look it up.

@@nicks5636 Moscow is the historical capital of Russia it would always be the cultural and national center and heart of the Russian nation and the most favoured. This is one of the reasons why Russia is not going to change capital and one of the reasons RSFSR transfer the capital to Moscow. Petrograd is a beautiful city but a much more modern and european looking city with no so much russian heart.

No, it's an Imperial song. The mayority of soviets songs uses melodies from the Imperial songs. So, when you hear a russian song remember that is from the Imperial time.
