As an actual victim of SA, this is very upsetting and annoying that she would just lie so easily about this and also using shubbles experience as an excuse to lie about something that is very REAL and TRAUMATIC. Upsetting how I've even gotten to the point where I don't feel as if I can even trust alleged victims anymore... People like her treat this shit as a joke and make it EXTREMELY difficult for actual victims to come out. Disgusting. I'm sorry your name was defamed in this way. You might be able to sue if you want to.
@Braeden66 holy victim blame. Yall tell yourself what you want to here. No proof either way I belive the accuser they teller the truth 90 percent of the time
It's crazy how someone can have so much power to ruin someone's life with false allegations, you can be in the moment and everything is consensual but weeks or months later they can just say "well actually I didn't give consent, I change my mind".
this is so fucking backwards. so when it’s your favorite skinny boy cc it’s “innocent until proven guilty!!” so you can turn shit on the victim. hilarious. you all are so detached from reality it makes me genuinely sick
This is the dumbest allegation I've seen in a hot minute. She felt uncomfortable, that's unfortunate, she should have communicated it. Could he have asked? Sure, but he didn't sexually assault her be so fucking for real. This was a miscommunication. Caiti needs new friends and a reality check. Anyone who thinks otherwise has never been outside or had real life interactions.
also a key detail is that she knew his age and did honestly choose to cuddle him and be around him and also message him for months after her situation with him.
It’s not his fault that she regretted it later and putting your hand on someone’s Waist is not assault especially if you don’t have any sexual tension for it this could’ve honestly been resolved so easily and forgivable but no, Sapnap and George are no longer friends and Twitter is low-key canceling him right now😊
If tickling someone's tummy is sexual assault then every mother is a r*pist! SMH. This drama is stupid. To think you need verbal consent after every slight change in a move shows no one here has ever had a healthy sex relationship. Touching someones tummy, thigh, arm etc (non sexual parts) AFTER AN ENTIRE HOUR OF CUDDLING!!!! is a form of very slight escalation to test boundaries of consent if you can go further. She entertained it by looking back at him and smiling/ laughing or whatever the specific was. How can he know she didn't want it? Has ALL the personal accountability got to be forced on men now? And women can't simply open their mouth and say one word? The guy clearly is nice and only testing boundaries if he truly was a r*pist he'd not test anything he'd go straight for the private parts and take what he wants without a second wasted! But he didn't even go further than her god damn belly button. Other peoples ideas of how consent works is frightening! If I had to ask for consent for every slight change in movement during sex for example to handle a womans love handles now I r*ped her because turnes out multiple months after she comes out and says she's insecure about that part of her body and felt uncomfortable??!?!? That's insane. If you don't like something you HAVE to say it. YOU HAVE TO verbalise it. Men are not mind readers especially when your physical says you are fine with it smiling. She smiled. How is that a negative body language again chat??? IT's not you virgins. SHE IS DESTROYING HIS LIFE AND CAREER OVER TICKLING HER TUMMY GOD DAMN IT!
As a woman, I'm telling you all to SPEAK UP in the moment! feeling uncomfortable is VERY different than being sexually assaulted... lets stop jumping on the "me too" train. It isnt cute. It isnt the right attention you want on you, nor should these other peoples names be dragged in the mud... if there was actual assault, then GO TO AUTHORITIES and have it handled the right way. This pitty party/woe is me is not what you want to be remembered for...
It's crazy. She heard Shelby's story and somehow thought her own was similar in severity. Shelby might be known as "that girl who Wilbur bit" for a while but at least she exposed him for something ACTUALLY scary and abusive and worth talking about. At least she's protecting more women from being hurt by him. What did Caiti do? She was an incredibly tiny streamer/content creator and now she'll forever be known as that random girl who called George a m*lester, who turned out to be wildly overexaggerating the story to look more sympathetic, and in the end it was just a matter of regretting having a messy first sexual experience.
@@pey5571you are so detached it is insane. consider for a moment that these are real people with real trauma for a moment. consider that maybe listening to victims is more important than saving your fav internet celebs. but no, you say “this girl will forever be the one who called george a molester” instead of “this girl was taken advantage by a man with a lot more power and she deserves some level of respect”

if the part about her getting up repeatedly to get drinks, say goodbye to friends etc and each time go back to cuddle with him is true, and it should be easy to corroborate with the other people who were there whether it is true, then it sounds to me like she loves the idea of being a survivor bravely speaking out on behalf of all the other survivors oout there and letting them know that they're not alone and being showered in comments telling her how brave she is.
@@belle8732he was also intoxicated so that doesn’t entirely hold any water considering he wouldn’t have also been in the right state of mind to properly consent, also there’s such a thing as nonverbal consent, the whole situation is just really he said she said, and I don’t think there’s any real way to definitively know wether or not she was uncomfortable, especially since the eye witnesses of the situation are taking bias sides based on who they are closer with Obviously I’m not saying though that being intoxicated is an excuse to sexually assault someone, but also in this situation if both parties are intoxicated they both cannot consent So if anything sexual did happen with consent it would just be between two people who are both intoxicated and BOTH unable to consent, but it still happens anyways and it’s not considered rape unless someone is sober and they are sexually assaulting someone who is not

@@kat9531not really, she looked very much like a liar from the beginning to me because she was unwilling to show evidence and her entire story sounded nothing like what a real victim would say. It was written like a story, not like allegations. As an actual survivor of SA, it really disappoints me to see women like her who run to the internet to talk about their allegations rather than to the police. It’s very clear that her only real intention out of this was to try and ruin George’s life and career, she was not looking for justice or healing. She wanted attention because she regretted something, and that is so goddamn offensive to real survivors and their stories. For every false allegation there is around 5 true ones that end up brushed off because of selfish women like her. She needs to be kicked off of the internet, like anyone who is willing to support her after this is a disgusting human being.
Tbh, Caiti blew this out of proportion too much and they kept changing their stories that it seems to me this is all just for clout at this point u know
I've listened to both sides and this really sounds like a small and forgivable issue that should have been resolved privately in the moment. Saving it like a time bomb for a year and turning it into a public spectacle is actually insane.
For real, if this exact situation played out between two average people with no online following it would have ended with a short argument and (hopefully) an apology at best
Agreed, seems like something that should have been settled privately, and her coming out on the internet with no evidence just further proved that her only intention was to try and ruin George’s life and livelihood essentially. She’s a terrible person for what she did
This, how do you see empowering women like shelby and lexie and think yeah now's the time for me to share this half-issue and act like it's just as bad. This is like Punz getting accused and in the midst of women sharing their story thinks it's the right time to release a "my experience with dream" and it's just him being a cuck.
god i feel bad for george. being called a sexual abuser and having the full force of twitter jumping down his throat and calling him a r*pist and human scum when he didn't even do anything wrong. she just regretted the experience, which is valid, but that doesn't make it assault or m*lestation. he's getting blamed despite reacting like a normal human being and taking the situation/her body language to be a "yes, this is okay." why are we acting like saying point-blank "yes I consent to this" is the only valid form of consent? real life people don't say or ask that for every single little thing they do when they interact with someone.
Because this world has literally become clownish and people will literally believe anything they are told with out questioning it and investigating it. I fully agree there are many different ways of consent, specially men who are good with women, I know for I one never had to ask a girl. : hey is ok ok if I touch your breast before we engage in sexual activity?" How freaking of a turn off is that and how stupid does that sound?! come one common sense! But then again we todays age this is something lacking!

If everything is consensual and afterwards they regret it, then it's not assault. Period. You don't have to worry about that. The issue is when there's no consent during. If they regret and change their mind and retract their consent during, but it continues, then yes it's assault.
1. Cati never said her age 2. Cati was cuddling with a 26 year old man 3. GEORGE NEVER ABUSED HER 4. Cati was drinking underage 5. Cati took info out of context 6. It sounds like 2 people flirting at a party. WHICH IS A COMPLETELY NORMAL PART OF A PARTY. They both saw the same situation, just from different perspectives.
@@overstimulating Honestly some parents have a ten year age gap, Keemstar was dating a 20 year old when he was 40 years old. There's worse age gaps out there, too, that are far "worse". All of this depends on the context of the situation. They're both adults. Just leave it be. Like everyone else is saying, George thought she was 21. Edit: It’s a completely different story if Caiti was heavily drunk. If not then y’all have zero right for calling George an abuser. Both did things they regret that night, either way.
you handled this VERY well. it’s pretty clear you’re not on the hunt for freshly turned 18 year olds lmao. she’s trying to portray you as a predator when in reality, a group of six snuck into an over21 party at vidcon then begged dream to come to his suite to drink and play drinking games.
im the same age as her, and ive been in a very similar scenario as she was, so i understand being too scared to say or do anything at the time-but she has to take accountability for that. nobody can read people’s mind. and that’s what pisses me off the most, her not taking accountability for any wrongdoing, just blaming George for everything. she should've resolved this in their private dm's, telling him how she was uncomfortable with the touching and ask to not do it again-then he would have very likely accepted that. problem solved. and this might be a bold statement idk, but i don't believe she was sexually assaulted. it was a touch on her waist. nothing more.
She was underage drinking and kept going back on the couch after getting up multiple times. At the time, she was fine with it. Now she is suddenly regretting it and accusing George? Nah, he is 100% innocent.
Just because a woman keeps on coming on your couch doesn't mean she literally is giving you consent for sex. She has a mouth when she says yes or no the things should move forward it doesn't take 2 IQ cells to understand this.
shes just doing this for attention after seeing how much attention shelby got which is sad cus it is like a punch in the face to those who actually experienced SA
@@zxorizonn_3111 Yep. sounds like it. Listen to the last part of her video where she dramatically starts talking about how she wants to give a voice to other survivors and let them know they're not alone and stuff like that. That's the kind of thing you say when you want to get lots of attention and praise about how brave you are etc. When you listen back you can hear a lot of overly dramatic things like she's become enamoured by the idea of how she's a survivor and so brave by speaking out.
As a woman, Ive never had a man ask for consent to touch my waist. Tbh Ive maybe a very small amount of times actually had a guy ask my consent for anything at all, they just went for it if i seemed into it. And if you’re not, say so. If you’re too uncomfortable to say something, make an excuse to get up or leave. In my opinion, George did nothing wrong and i feel bad that she blasted this all over the internet for him to deal with. But great job keeping your composure mate.
The reaction George was had to these allegations is also showing the difference between real allegations and fake. Wilbur reacted by making an “apology” which was just trying to defend himself and he only was saying he’s “changed” which is typical abusive behaviour. George has givin his perspective, given proof and acknowledged her feelings, he didn’t say that she wasn’t feeling them he just said how her actions were
I do think what he said about her friends was right. REAL friends wouldn't take you to a party with +21 drunk people, real friends would have protected you. Real friends wouldn't manipulate you into talking months later. Those friends need to go OUT of your life. Take a break from streaming girl and the internet you need it. And P.S: Taking advantage of what is happening with the real victim and wilbur guy is something horrible to do.

Like... if they saw the two engaging in frisky behavior w/ each other & she was uncomfy with it/became uncomfy, why tf did they not pull her away??? Even if they only found out later that Caiti didn’t want to be advanced on, they lowkey aren’t in a position to speak because they were *complacent* by letting it go on. “Silence isn’t consent” and yet, her friends sure didn’t do anything to help her.)
To all the people saying "this is just a misunderstanding" or "no one was in the wrong" , if George's version of events is accurate , and it should be pretty easy to corroborate with the other people who were there, then she is 100% in the wroong. She completely distorted and misrepresented the situation and falsely accused him of sexual assault when she was choosing to get up and then go back to cuddling him repeatedly. If George's claims are true then this isn't a "it's no one's fault" situation, it would mean she outrageously falsely accused someone of of sexual assault which is extremely messed up and immoral and should be considered libel . It's crazy to me that there seem to be a lot of people in the comments who believe George's claims yet also believe Catie did nothing wrong by falsely accusing him and trying to permanently ruin his reputation, his career and possibly his life.
If like what you said George's version was correct she's also comparing her situation to Shelby's which is disgusting in my opinion. Shelby was actually abused, she clearly set boundaries and when she said no, your going too far he crossed the boundary.
I think both people are right in this situation. She probably experienced it in the way she spoke about it, but he had no way to know and his version of the story makes a bit more sense.
They were both drunk, its okay to feel weird about stuff like that when you werent sober while doing it but that also applies to him. The fact at hand is that alcohol clouds judgement on both sides. I dont think he meant anything by it. He seems to honestly believe hes innocent
Yes, like, I know a girl who were telling me and other her friend that she felt, likd, dirty and bad and all after one guy approach her and it was like sexual assault for her... I was there when it happens. Dude just was touching her shoulder while speaks to her about something like "yo hello how's your day" etc, etc. and then texted her few times until she exploded and text him how she disgusted by his behavior and he just stopped :D I know few people that literally were freaked out and were saying people who were JUST TALKING TO THEM were interapting something... So yeah, sometimes people see something completely different

@@ejeggeggy4064 This! It's not like she was the only one drunk and he was stone-cold sober. They were all drinking. With that fact and with the evidence that HE brought forward, I am almost concrete on my opinion. She has every right to feel bad about what happened and regret it; but that does NOT make it sexual assault. If she was truly laughing, smiling and DID get up multiple times then almost her entire story is disproven. It's a shame because I've actually only ever been a Caiti fan and, as a victim of rape, it's really difficult to hear someone over exaggerate something so insanely horrific to actually go through. From the sounds of it, if she even once showed discomfort (like the elevator) he would have left her be. And that's that.
Twitter became VERY annoying after this. They always react after hearing one side like god damn, chill out and wait for both responses. Watch the video and then come to a conclusion
Thank you so much for that comment. It’s what I needed to hear. I hate it if you jump to conclusions first before hearing both sides and then form you on opinion. And thats what twitter is doing all the time.
honestly 50% of allegations against content creators that start off on twitter are false. there’s been more instances of them being false than true at this point
So she lied about her age and he is still apologizing? Not to mention her acting the whole time on stream? You can tell those are real emotions she felt but she diluted her mind into thinking that she was taken advantaged of when in all reality she practically is going for this mans whole career.
Silence isn't concent. But 80% of communcation is non-verbal, body langauge, eye contact, facial expression etc. She lead him on and tricked him, then thought it'd be funny to throw a hissy later.
I choose to believe George because WHY did Caiti omit CRUCIAL details like - they were cuddling for an hour, her friends left and she chose to stay, she was drinking before she got to the hotel (underage), and she came from a vidcon party strictly for 21+??
Also as a woman her saying he put her hand under her clothes and going to places leaves ONE place in mind, imo, making him sound VERY bad. But around the waste under the shirt is, in my opinion, very different. Her leaving out those details and letting the viewer assume the worst is very manipulative.
@@virginiaf4117 I agree!! And people (and Caiti) keep saying she was “freshly 18 and got manipulated”. @@Grimmick No she wasn't. If you can't set your boundaries you pry shouldn't put yourself in situations like this, (this referring to going out drinking). She was already drinking before they got to the room, and since everyone was already drinking before everyone met in the room they offered alcohol, which is literally normal. Oh hey I'm drunk and drunk friends are coming over should I offer them some alcohol or just some water? Funny how you phrase it "giving her drinks" they offered them, they didn't force them drink. If you don't want to drink then say so, she clearly was fine with drinking cause she never complained about not wanting alcohol, she never said in her video she didn't want any alcohol. what annoys me the most is how many of george’s friends/acquaintances sided with caiti, even before he posted his response. they either unfollowed him or bashed him with angry tweets. like, you’re CONTENT CREATORS. not children who have no sexual experience like twitter users. but they’re acting just as immature and childish as twitter users are, probably just to save their career and not risk getting hate. really goes to show real friends vs fake friends. thank god dream and sapnap are still friends with george and know it’s just a mistake, or even a mistake at all for that matter. it doesn’t sound plausible to me that they would betray george like this, especially since they’ve known each other for so many years. bottom line tho, i just hope george is getting support in his personal life and seeing the support on youtube. i hate how his mental health, reputation, career, and friendships have been ruined because of this girl who was mildly uncomfortable in a cuddling session. i hope you’re happy, caiti🖕

Let's get real here. George had solid evidence to back up his side, something Caiti was sorely lacking. She just read from a script and shed some tears. Why does she get to do that while George doesn't even get a fair shot? And let's not be naive about the current climate. Accusations like these are flying left and right, and it's too damn easy for someone to make up a sob story and ride the wave of public outrage. We need to think straight and not follow the media without both sides. I was trying to stay neutral, waiting for George to speak up. But now that he has, it's clear this is just another case of jealous nobodies trying to take down successful creators. Atp the whole minecraft community is getting dragged on... And don't give me that "consent is complicated" crap. Caiti kept coming back to George, and he didn't force her. They even kept texting after and in the end it was GEORGE who stopped conversing after he found out what her age was. Let's face it, without any text proof, Caiti's story doesn't hold water. Crying and reading from a script don't make it any more believable. Let's not forget, Caiti's story was a whole other ball game compared to George's. She claimed they were forced into drinking games by George and his friends but then they were were the ones who were all in for it. And the age thing? She says George knew, but it wasn't confirmed that he actually knew. They kinda forced their way into the party. Plus they were wearing 21 and over bracelets so how the actual hell would George know that she was 18 if he didn't hear her nor read her instagram bio. And if her excuse is that she regrets being so affectionate, well, that's just rich. Good on her for reflecting, but don't go spreading lies about creators just because you had a change of heart after the fact.
I'm so sorry Georgy you're having to go through this! I hope this passes soon, thank you for all you do and please take care of yourself in these times! Take care x
should he have asked for verbal consent ? yes are caiti's feelings and regrets valid ? yes is george an abuser or sexual assaulter because of this ? absolutely not as far as we can tell there was no malicious intent from either side and clearly a miscommunication issue was very much present especially considering that both of them were overly drunk. This is a difficult topic to discuss since it is not all black and white and while yes george made a mistake assuming her age and assuming that she consented, he definitely does not deserve to be thrown into the same category as actual abusers and rapists. This seems like something that should've been discussed in private due to the fact that all of the online involvement is making everything so much worse. At the end of the day it is important to remember that silence is not consent and that you should always believe victims but also understand that sometimes things aren't as simple as they may seem. You can do bad and stupid things without any ill intent and you need to take accountability but that doesn't make you a criminal. caiti's regret is incredibly valid and I hope she heals properly from this. george is innocent too but I also hope he learns from all of this to avoid ever making someone feel like this again.
Idk her or her story, I'm haven't seen the video and don't want to choose sides, however: I went through trauma as a kid myself, my response was freeze to begin with, I felt shame for not pushing away or saying anything, but I was a scares lit kid.. then it became more violent, mind you I was a child,(fight, flight, freeze, fawn) so I tried to push them away and they over powered me and I got physically hurt because of it (on 2 occasions) later in life, I thought it would never happen to me again, when I was an adult, going through a mental health crisis, I ended up meeting someone I thought was sweet at a recovery centre, tldr; he took advantage of me and r worded me and I reacted differently, I didn't fight him off as it had gone wrong before, I was deeply ashamed and couldn't comprehend what happened to me, I was already in a crisis and because the first person who hurt me lived with me, It messed me up, so when he wanted to hang out more, I kept doing it, I kept getting drunk after that, I had feelings for him to some degree but also I did tell him not to do stuff to me and he didn't listen, I had no spine, I was new to alcohol and on new medication, I was suffering and didn't know how to process it. He did stuff to me while I was unconscious and every single time I ended up bl**ing or bl00dy, (I know I shouldn't have let him come in my unit again, he was 2-3 rooms away from me at the place I stayed at) my home life was bad, I was humiliated and I couldn't cope. I wanted to believe he'd stop, he said (before the first time) that he'd never do anything to me under the influence, I trusted him (my fault) he got me dr*nk, (he did pressure me into it the first time) He later admitted to me that he "touched me in my sleep" after I had blacked out. That was 6 years ago next month, of course now that I'm older and after many years of serious therapy, many psychiatrists, therapists and SA counsellors, lots of medications and whatnot, I started rebuilding my will to live. Being too scared to physically stop someone is a valid reason, having feelings for the person but not wanting to do anything like tjat is also a valid reason, for me, I initially had feelings and then I felt guilt, shame and I didn't want to cause a scene or more problems, I felt bad for him and I suffered from being a people pleaser, (I wasn't trying to please him, I was just scared to make things into a bigger issue when the whole reason I was there was because I couldn't handle my stuff) I was very mentally unwell and couldn't defend myself very well in situations like this. I didn't say he could do what he did to me, I 100% made mistakes, absolutely, but it still doesn't equate to consent. I haven't seen this video yet, but not all people react the same, people need to be educated on the importance of consent, 100% I said no to something in particular as well and he said "well I'm going to do it anyway" Everyone acts differently in their own personal scenarios, but if you tell them beforehand you won't do something, you ask them to do certain things and they say no, you're at fault...for myself I can't drink alc0hol anymore Tldr,; I continued to be r worded by someone for over a week because of shock, guilt, self hatred and previous trauma, because I didn't run outside doesn't mean I consented to it... This situation, I won't speculate on, but not all victims respond the same to these kinds of things
Can we just agree that miscommunication isn't sexual assault and that the easy solution to miscommunication is to say something clear and concise about the situation? If they continue to do what you told them not to, that's when it becomes sexual assault.
@@Extraaaa Thank you. The thing is, no one ever mentions that most of the time, physical and sexual advances are communicated non-verbally. If someone did that to me, I'll call it a night

both parties was at fault. but its not all on George. Caiti lied about her age, snuck up to a 21+ convention with a 21+ badge, knowing she was going to drink alcohol (idk the legal drinking age, but in many places its for sure 20+) Even then, you all should be aware. Two things can be true at once, while it may have been wrong for George (who also was drunk) to do what he did, Caiti was also stupid to put herself in that situation knowingly, there would be drunk boys older than her present. Smh, that's my reasoning and opinion.
this honestly feels like post-incident regret on Caiti's end. I've done plenty of things I was participating in at the time, only to realize later that I regret ever doing it. george raises some very good points here, and I'm glad he did take some time to organize his thoughts. he didn't expressly state it, but it seems like everyone in this situation was drunk, and therefore NONE of them were making informed decisions. she was touching him, as well. is there only one victim when both adults were impaired? even when disconnecting the situation from the creator, i don't see how this is sexual assault.
its so unfair tho, to accuse someone of SA just because you regretted doing the things you did with the person. she stayed behind even after her friends left but then also claimed that she was so scared that she couldnt move.
First of all, George provided us just concrete evidence, which may I remind Caiti DID NOT have. The only thing she did is reading from a pre-written text and cried. Why is it that she was allowed to read from a pre-written text and George doesn’t have the same rights? Second of all, yall need to stop and think about it for a second. The hot topic at this moment is just about big ccs being accused of sa and yall need to understand just how easy it is for ppl and make up a big lie and then take advantage of the present controversy to lure the crowd to their side. Please judge with a clear mind. I have been taking a neutral stance and waiting for George’s turn to speak before judging. But now I know and yes the situation is just how I imagined it. it’s just another day of those broke people finding a way to bring big creators down and ruin their careers. You cannot be so dumb to not think of that scenario. If her case is indeed so true then why cant I see any text evidence? Not some mere words written down for her to read and sob on stream but clear and justified proof. And no, consent is not just yes or no. She kept coming back to him, he didn’t tell her to do that. Just look at the texts between them. It should be solved privately if she was truly assaulted in any way but she just decided to make it public. (small note: everything I said here, I had just posted them on X/Twitter. So I kind of pasted them and combined all of my posts into 1 comment so that you guys can understand my stance as well as many others’ on this topic. My X is lisangy_ if yall want to talk or maybe discuss more with me about this problem.)
@@orlaith_2910 did you not read everything I just commented? How is it that you cannot think of how easy it is to take advantage of the current controversy of sa and then lure everyone who is as denial and naive as you to their side. At the end of the day, it’s just big creators’ careers being completely destroyed over a ridiculous lie and accusation
Bro had the receipts and twitter still attacked him then made him confess to something he didn't even do. What a cesspool. Just because George is a Minecraft creator and it's a meme that they're groomba's that's such a weird reason to pick him as a target
People saying that a smile doesn't equal consent are clearly reducing his story to an absurd degree. He wasn't only relying on the smiles and laughs (which can actually already be a sign that you are happy about something or that you are enjoying something), it was the fact that she kept going back to him, even after going to the bathroom or to say goodbye to her friends, she kept going back to cuddling with him. Any person that's tried to flirt with anyone in their lives knows that George's actions and understanding of the situation are completely logical. If you've had your hand around another person's waist the whole time, they get up and back to that position and even show themselves reciprocal about it through actions, I think makes the message very clear: they want to be there. The story she's telling makes it look like this crazy akward scenario where everyone is being witness of an abuse (even her best friend), she's showing herself uncomfortable (even when she said she tried to not show it "because everyone was watching", because it's contradictory if you claim that and then say that you would literally freeze and stay quiet the whole time) and nobody's even reacting to it. The story he's telling is making it look like a NORMAL social interaction. I stand with George. . . . Also, plz remember she wasn't the only one intoxicated there. Both of them were drunk.
Agreed. It honestly seems like a lot of the people immediately jumping at his throat have never even been in a sexual experience because going off of body language and enthusiasm is totally normal and healthy.
Nervous laughter and smiles exist… when i was assaulted i was scared to do anything because the people in the room had power over me so i just played along because what else can i do? Risk losing everything?
@@unusandannuscasket there is actually a thing called non verbal consent, and this is what I mean with my comment: if you've been in a flirty mood with someone, you know that what George understood from that interaction was completely logical. From her actions (not only reactions), she was showing herself comfortable with it, even if she regretted it later on, which is just as valid. It is true that everyone reacts differently to uncomfortable situations, but what I'm saying is that even what she said about her own reactions was contradictory: she first said she was going along with it because she didn't want to make a scene out of it and then she said that she would freeze, stay quiet and get up to get out of that situation... Still, she skipped the part where she would go back over and over again to that uncomfortable situation by going back to cuddling with George, or going to the elevator with him when she didn't have to...
I think it was cause of him still associating with George after his statement on a call about him saying something about barging in on a girl in the shower
I don’t understand how it is difficult for people on Twitter to take everything with a grain of salt. Just because Wilbur is an abuser doesn’t mean George is too. One side of the story comes out and everyone immediately attack creators that weren’t even involved (Sapnap). Some of these people on Twitter most likely care more about destroying people’s lives than supporting victims of sexual assault. Smh wait for the whole story to come out.

I think while silence is not consent, the fact she kept coming back and even messaged him after, as well as not showing any signs of discomfort, and wasnt being forced to drink can show that george at least didnt have any bad intentions and if he knew how she was uncomfortable then he would've stopped. All in all, poor communication, but caiti is still allowed to have regrets and that may be why she remembers it the way she does, so instead of calling her a liar, we can still support and validate her feelings, but in the case where it was miscommunicated and poorly explained, i personally am not a fan of george but we can give him a bit of slack.

Tl;dr. - She lied about her age, took her friend to another guy's place, got drunk with everyone, cuddled with george for hours, left, came back, and continued to text him for several days afterwards George found out she was 18, stopped talking to her, she found out she couldnt mooch off the clout from him this way, *PLAN B*
George, you are being way too forgiving to this liar who is trying to ruin your life for no reason other than to get attention. You need to stand up for yourself and take her to court for defamation.
She has shit friends. Leaving her there Letting her drink when she wasnt of age Letting her engage with a person like this without being able to tell she was umcomfy or not. She needs better friends, these people probably did push her to say these things and wanted to ride the wilbur heat and make another big issue.
Letting her? She was old enough to make better decisions. What happened to the whole “strong independent women!” thing? Oh…that’s only a thing when it suits them? When it doesn’t they are all fragile little snowflakes that need everyone’s protection and help. Hypocrites! Manipulators.
I feel bad for George to be handling those accusations, over such a small thing. And for her to say, 'drunk' at a party, means that she lied about her age, as legal drinking ages most of the time is 21, and it doesn't even make sense, George is literally down right a good person, and wouldn't even think of doing such things. I stand my ground as George being innocent.

His story makes sense, and I’m so happy it does because idk what I would have done if it didn’t. If Caiti is hurt/traumatized by this experience then I will hope in her healing and recovery. i just don’t understand why she didn’t leave when her friends did if she hated it that much? why go back to sit w geo after getting a drink, going to the toilet, saying bye to your friends? that was her chance to leave if she wanted too, but she didn’t take it?? why not??
Let me get this straight- she was at a party with drinking. Meaning it should automatically be assumed she is of age if she is there consider the fact everyone let them in the party. They were BOTH drunk, they BOTH were flirting with each other, they BOTH touched each other without verbal consent, BEFORE anything "bad" even happened. u can tell 99% of these people have never had any sexual experience with someone they like cause 99.999% of the time nobody is asking for a verbal yes, if you are giving hints that you are trying to advance the relationship and they respond to those hints by play fighting with you and smiling and laughing and sitting next to you, that is almost as valuable as a verbal yes. and who tf js says "can i touch u?" like thats one way to kill the whole vibe lmaooo. half of ya'll are chronically online 14 year olds that have no idea how the real world works
I do it all the time I ask random women "Do you want to have sex?" and they all say yes This is how it works. You have to ask them politely and get their verbal consent, and then you continue the deed.
She was literally already drinking before she got to the hotel. And they cuddled for an hour. She just lives in regret. As someone who had been SA'd I feel lots of disrespect. I yelled stop I tried to push them off. I didn't consent. She wanted it, she regrets it, and that is not mean you got Sa'd. No hate to Caiti but her and people like are the reason people that actually have been SA'd get ignored and get told they are lying.
I hate to say it but I think it's because of Shelby coming out about Wilbur. Of course she had every right to and I'm not saying that she shouldn't have but anti's who have been trying to shut down the DSMP for years now have leverage because of people knowing for a fact that Wilbur is an abuser so they're probably just trying to shut them all down. I am very mad George had to go through this. I 100% support victims , but this is absolutely a different scenario. She came sat next to him again and again , smiled at him , ENGAGED with him, most importantly CUDDLED with him (which she herself admitted on Twitter). If she was cuddling with him for an hour , Genuinely how was George supposed to know she was uncomfortable. An hour is not a short time , again I'll mention she ENGAGED TOO in the cuddling. The way she painted George in her prior livestream was very different than what the case was. I understand that victims should feel safe to come out and tell their story, but this is very different case. Some of u might not like what I'll say but , she is actually victimizing herself in her head. She thinks George did not care about consent, but isant cuddling with him for an hour a consent for him to keep hands on her waist . Because cuddling is way more intimate than putting hands on someone's waist . I understand her feelings, she can feel this way, but I am mad because she is painting George as a person with malicious intentions (he himself said it in the vid and i 100% agree). This should not have become this big. At the hotel she felt uncomfortable to say no,but y not talk to him later about this. In these situations communication between these two parties is very important. This comment got super negative but hey,George I am proud ur responding well , in her live she did not mention cuddling, she said she was unable to move but was cuddling. ( She herself agreed in her Twitter post that she did engage in cuddling). No hard feelings towards what she is feeling, but this can ruin someone's career, image , future etc . This could have delt with communication first ... I understand she feels George should have gotten a verbal consent,I have so much to say but yea I'll end it here...If i ever felt like George had malicious intentions I was 100% going to drop him and get away from this mc community but I am glad I don't have to.

@@belle8732he was also intoxicated so that doesn’t entirely hold any water considering he wouldn’t have also been in the right state of mind to properly consent, also there’s such a thing as nonverbal consent, the whole situation is just really he said she said, and I don’t think there’s any real way to definitively know wether or not she was uncomfortable, especially since the eye witnesses of the situation are taking bias sides based on who they are closer with
Obviously I’m not saying though that being intoxicated is an excuse to sexually assault someone, but also in this situation if both parties are intoxicated they both cannot consent

god i feel bad for george. being called a sexual abuser and having the full force of twitter jumping down his throat and calling him a r*pist and human scum when he didn't even do anything wrong. she just regretted the experience, which is valid, but that doesn't make it assault or m*lestation. he's getting blamed despite reacting like a normal human being and taking the situation/her body language to be a "yes, this is okay." why are we acting like saying point-blank "yes I consent to this" is the only valid form of consent? real life people don't say or ask that for every single little thing they do when they interact with someone.
I doubt she regretted much. I think she regretted when he found out her real age and ghosted her. That btch just wanted revenge and attention.

I wanted to believe he'd stop, he said (before the first time) that he'd never do anything to me under the influence, I trusted him (my fault) he got me dr*nk, (he did pressure me into it the first time)
He later admitted to me that he "touched me in my sleep" after I had blacked out.
I haven't seen this video yet, but not all people react the same, people need to be educated on the importance of consent, 100%
I said no to something in particular as well and he said "well I'm going to do it anyway"
Everyone acts differently in their own personal scenarios, but if you tell them beforehand you won't do something, you ask them to do certain things and they say no, you're at fault...for myself I can't drink alc0hol anymore
Tldr,; I continued to be r worded by someone for over a week because of shock, guilt, self hatred and previous trauma, because I didn't run outside doesn't mean I consented to it...
This situation, I won't speculate on, but not all victims respond the same to these kinds of things

she might not want to show it tho?
So what I'm hearing is this could've been easily avoided if Caiti didn't go to a *21+ party* while being "freshly 18" ahh 🤔

Can we just agree that miscommunication isn't sexual assault and that the easy solution to miscommunication is to say something clear and concise about the situation? If they continue to do what you told them not to, that's when it becomes sexual assault.

both parties was at fault. but its not all on George.
THATS WHAT IM SAYING!!!!

Damn he handled that so well. Sucks that that happened to him to
Bro had the receipts and twitter still attacked him then made him confess to something he didn't even do.

@@unusandannuscasketyou are actually stupid.
