I said it before and I will say it again. You have helped an entire generation through college and school. You deserve the congressional medal of honor
My teacher asked for the interquartile range on a test when we never even talked about it in class, so now i'm here. Thanks for getting the stress off of my back.
Sounds like maybe he taught himself directly from a book (never heard the word spoken). If so that's amazing and this guy is even more of a genius than I thought!
not to take anything away from him, he's great at teaching and i'm sure is great at math. but this concept is simple and you could easily teach yourself.
This video was so helpful! Your explanation was extremely clear and short. You explained even better than my teacher! Thank you so much for doing these types of videos.
I passed my Physics 101 and Chemistry 101 courses thanks to you. Now I am learning data science, and I need to understand how statistical applications work here I am again. Thank you!
Some very clear examples of calculating Lower and Upper Quartiles. The Quartile calculation is one of the most confusing and ambiguous in mathematics. There is more than one formula used for calculating Q1 and Q3 and they give slightly different answers.
You are an excellent teacher and I just want to correct your pronunciation of the word outliers. It sounds like Out liar as in someone who does not tell the truth. YOU are a great teacher.
Skip javelin outliers outside out of [q1-iqr*1,5,q3+iqr*1,5]mode is the most occuring value screw up overdue Quartile each of four equal groups into which population of results can be devided hodgepodge interquartile range q3-q1 percentile
To calculate Q1 and Q3, dont you have to consider the mid point (if odd) to find out Q1 and Q3. But you have excluded the number 11 to find the two other mids.
