With Pawsville's infamous Masked Killer on the loose, Imiza's boss urgently needs her to write about the new hot topic. She accepts, but why is she reluctant? They team up with Miles to publish the new article, and perhaps reveal the identity of the Masked Killer. Who is hiding behind the mask?

WRITTEN DESCRIPTION OF THE FLASHING SCENE
12:34 Flashing sequence starts

Imiza is walking down the corridor and looks at the first door on her right, reading “IT ROOM”. As she hears a mysterious voice say “..played soccer”, the lights start to flicker more. “..Broke his arm..” Says the echoing voice. Tension rises. Imiza is startled by what is happening but she presses on. The voice says “..excelled in music studies”. She looks over to the other side of the corridor, seeing a door with “CRIME” written on it and the voice says “..writes articles in the newspaper… keeps the window open at night..” Imiza can feel her heart pulsing out of her chest. She anxiously looks around and her eyes focus back on the door ahead. “Painted oil canvases on the side..” the voice echoes. Imiza notices the dirty appearance of the “INVESTIGATIVE” sign on the door. Lastly, the voice says “..bright.. red.. streaks..” Panic rises dramatically after hearing those words but fortunately, Imiza is able to calm herself. After a few moments, she continues walking towards the door…

Natalie I am in AWE!! The little snippets and tidbits couldn’t prepare me for how beautiful this first episode turned out, I was so immersed and hooked, the time flew by!! The camera angles felt so natural and the LPS move in a way that makes them feel so.. REAL! All the little props add so much and don’t even get me started on the lighting!! (My favorite bit was the coffee shop lighting scene!) You have a keen eye to convey all these details, you should be so proud of yourself! I can tell this will be a classic in the LPS community!!

Wow, I can’t begin to even express how much I loved this first episode. I love horror, and being able to see someone create such an incredible story with intelligent writing, cinematography, sets, everything. The scene where she was walking to the investigation office, and the flashes began to happen I instantly felt uncomfortable and tensed. Absolutely incredible, I am so excited for the next episode
This was genuinely a cinematic masterpiece. The sets were beautiful, the quality of the camera, the script??? Dude I was in awe when watching this.

Wow. I am just- WOW. Coming back to the LPS community and seeing how much production and creativity have improved over the years is astonishing. I'm honestly speechless. The writing and cinematography have absolutely blown me away, Natalie. It makes me so motivated to continue writing my own mystery series. The quality bar has risen, and horizons have broadened with this. This episode alone helps me realize that we are not limited when it comes to sets, production, and fleshing out our characters. Truly an inspiration. Wow.
What an amazing piece of cinematography… I love to watch those spooky “Mystery of [insert criminal name]” videos, and seeing a whole lps series based around that concept is all I could’ve ever asked for…
I also like the idea of showing us who the killer is so early, it’s a very uncommon (and tbh underrated) witting technique, but I personally adore it. Especially when accompanied by (what I assume to be) a start of romantic relationship (?… hihi) and Imiza’s trauma from losing her parents. It builds the tension so well and from the beginning hints at a horrible disaster in 3rd act… Can’t wait to see how things will play out for Imiza and Miles (who probably goes to the Lps husbandos list, I love the way he talks :3) in next episodes 💜💜💜
I am BLOWN AWAY by this show, and it's only episode 1!The story is so good, I love how we already
know who the killer is, which creates so much tension when Imiza's talking to him because we KNOW he's dangerous! The filming of this is also amazing, I loved the long take for the opening. And the lighting is so motivated, from the TV in Miles's house to the sunset in the last scene. It really makes the world feel real. I can't wait for episode 2!

I finally got around to watching this and I am SPEECHLESS. You’re playing all the right notes, your attention to detail is incredible. I could gush about every individual part of this.. the lighting, sound design, voice acting, set designs - but I want to give particular compliments here to your cinematography and editing. You know exactly how long to hold on something; precisely where to cut. And it culminates into such a lovely experience. I’ve never felt so terrified of a character before, the way you portray Miles and build up to Imiza meeting him is so effective. I also almost shed a tear at the end. Fantastic job, someone needs to hire you ASAP. Take your time with part 2, it will be worth the wait.
The way this is filmed and edited is absolutely AMAZING!! All the camera angles make it look like an actual movie, and the voice acting is so good it makes the story seem almost *too* real. I would have never imagined that anyone could make something that great with just a bunch of plastic animals :'D
also I love the ending credits. I mean it's just a small touch but they just look so nice

This is AMAZING!
The switch in mood lighting from Miles to Imiza is so well executed I’m so SHOCKED because you rarely see mood lighting used properly in LPS series. That and the camera angles being switched to different perspectives is GORGEOUS.
AND THE STORY SO FAR?? God I’m so intrigued and I have so many questions abt Imiza’s career, her parents, what threw her off when she received that first impression from Miles-AND MILES TOO! I also adore the split POVs of both main characters because it really puts things into perspective. I’m so mad it took me forever to watch this but this is AMAZINNNG and I am so excited for the new episode you have no idea 😭👏🏽👏🏽

I didn't know of the existence of LPS or its community till now (my loss!), but this came up in my recommended and... Oh. Gosh. I am blown away by the cinematic style of this, the emotion and atmosphere delivered through such an interesting method and so much effort and detail packed into a story! You do so so well with portraying the emotional aspects into every character literally so overjoyed I found you. Everything about how the lighting was used in every seen to create tone and emotion. (I also love how you start off with showing who the killer is btw, one of my personal favorite things)
The safe and comforting warm lights that go with Imiza and the cold lights that go with Miles.
The hallway scene is definitely my favorite, the lights are conveying Imiza's mind and heart and I love how we learn why that happened at the end!
