I finally figured it out, Bush Bee Man's voice is just like how someone would talk to a cute puppy. 😄
A fellow beekeeper I know uses a bow arrow to shoot a rope over the limb if the swarm are on a high tree limb and ties a 5 gal. bucket to the rope. He hauls it up to the the swarm, gives a couple of sharp tugs to bang the bucket against the limb, then lowers a bucket-o-bees.
Try taking a long wooden pole with a paint bucket sreew on it. It’s smaller and would be longer. Hope my suggestions helps
Glad you're alright Mark. You guys always get into some crazy shenanigans haha. Keep on keeping on guys.
Never a dull moment haha
Bucket Cam was crazy good :) I still don't understand why you don't get them straight into a box so they fan up the rest of the girls in. You will fall over when you try it!
I've got one of those bloody folding ladders, they are a pain to open and always catch my fingers, it stays folded up now unless really needed!! Loved the video as always.
Great Bees Captured sir' thanks for sharing, you're the Legend :D
Jeeezzzeee that was an effort and a half! I'd have just said "too hard, too high" and went home and had a cold beer instead! Keep the awesome videos coming!
We might not have done it if we weren’t filming haha
@@TheBushBeeMan haha! I wouldn't have. They were up high enough to not be a problem. Just taken time to educate the people who called it in and went on my way.
Always amusing! Thank you!
😀
The angles in this one where realy awesome
Thank you!!! I attached the go pro we brought with the Patreon support money to the inside of the box 😉👍
@@TheBushBeeMan Not only that, the low angles makes this seem almost semi-professional. Like the shot at 5:45 , it takes you into the action, like you are there.
Great vid,the tree loppers use a weight tied onto a strong rope to get their absail ropes up into the trees, perhaps you could use a similar practice to bring the branches down to you,tie it to the back of the Ute and drag it down to a workable height, bee good and take care.
Great idea!
The Bush Bee Man most respect to you for what you both are doing,it’s not easy, with your honesty, you will keep me forever, your not fake.regards.
Great Camera Skills...
Thank you 😊
This was so funny! 😂😂
Already see a potential problem...how u going to get them to the ground without tipping out?
Keep up the good videos!
Should I lock them in , because I didn’t and there gone, I did a split today with a not caped large grub , to make a queen, my question is will it work or should of been a tiny new grub , thanks Rick
Hi from Sweden. Found you yesterdsy / Suzanne
Thank you so much for watching!
The Bush Bee Man - I am so hooked and have seen 25 videos aleeady 🤗
That’s amazing!!!
Try using and bee hive instead of your bucket with old comb in it.
The things you do for bees
Her sent is probably still on the limb that the reason they go back to the limb . You probably got in your box .
Bet the adrenaline from being high up gave you a.....buzz
What year model is that Ford Falcon? Your dad had good taste in automobiles.
Take a razorblade/utility knife and cut the lip off your bee catching box and you’ll have a smooth lip. ;)
Hmmm, maybe next time attach brushes to the inside edge of the box-on-a-stick... Turning it into a frankenbox has to work, right?
Curious as to why the wife has so many power tools? Is it because her father's influence? (you mentioned he was a cabinet maker once I think?)
Why didn’t you put the bees straight into the bee box instead on shake them into a tub then pour them into another tub to then put them into a hive you could just put them straight into a hive box
💝
I got a swarm from a bee and wasp removal bloke that 100 percent of the time kills them with wasp kill from Bunnings , he would of not got the job if I couldn’t home them , leaner mistake , every day is a school day ...
