If Govt impose 4 day work week, if i am the boss, i will get foreign workers at cheaper and longer hours. Also i will increase system automation via AI and decrease work force.
seem like only the public “servant” have this priority treatment of less working time, so the rested public who suppose to be servered have to work longer to pay tax to raise their servant.😂

要看个人的工作量和工作能力。在疫情时，我每星期只去公司一天，却能把工作完成。现在返回了一个星期4天在公司，一天WFH，变成我每天去公司都是消遣时间。
我觉得突然间要公司接受，有点难度，可是如果公司能相信员工，让他们自己去安排灵活工时。
新加坡的护士如果是 4 天工作日，每天工作 2 shift (12 hourly), 7 - 7 OR 8 - 8 shift. 可是不可以拿 MC, 如果迟到还是还会被骂到半死。如果 COURSES 是在休息日，你还是必须要来。而且休息日不是每一次都是周末，PH 也没有了。当做补给你了。所以在新加坡当护士，不管 how many days work week, 工作只会多， 不会少。在加上现在在新加坡，一部分医生的工作也加进护士的工作范围里。所以如果医生不在的时候，Nurse in-charge 就必须接手完成工作。不懂还是紧急的话就叫值班医生过来。
其实也有一些工厂，需要做12个小时而且还要轮班制，我觉得做五天制就好。
我觉得大多数新加坡老板肯定不会实行4天工作日的😊
我的日本公司现在是一周要求至少工作40个小时，每天8小时工作。
其实四天制对公司老板是有利的，尤其是那些须要24 小时操作的，四天制可把原本三班轮流改为倆班轮职，省下了一班，而倆班工作12 小时一班给员工四小时的加班费还是比原有的第三班工资少50%，还有这类的休息日不一定是在周末，那周末最繁忙的时后可安排更多的人手来应对。
马来西亚也从去年，法定工作时间从48小时，减少至45小时
欧洲人现在每周工作时间大约35-40小时
在工业革命初期，欧洲人工作时间从早上到天黑。
减少工作时间，需要随着经济生产力的提升，循序渐进，不能一口气减少工作时间。
