I ask because in many people microscopic colitis and celiac disease go in combination. it's like that with me. My blood tests for celiac disease were always normal, but the biopsy showed celiac disease. Especially if people do not eat gluten during testing, then the findings can be false negative…
In addition to microscopic colitis and celiac disease, I also have a hernia, erosive gastritis, kidney problems… in the last year occasional swelling of the face and hands (although I'm not on prednisone then) I seem to be allergic to yeast 🙉… watch out for fruits and vegetables, for me they are the biggest trigger of frequent running to the toilet 🙈
You're welcome. Yes, there are blood antibody findings, and there is a deep gastroscopy- multiple samples to show if there is bowel damage and to determine the diagnosis of Marsh type. It is very important that the person ingests gluten normally in the period before the biopsy. Glad if I could be of help. Greetings from Croatia 😊
Greeting. I have had similar problems for 10 years. Have your doctors checked your biopsy for celiac disease?
Thank you, and I was tested and came back negative.

@@anitamusa5848 Thank you so much for sharing this. I didn't know there was a different testing option for celiac. I'll look into all of these!

Hope you get lots of good sleep (and your employer offers a medical second opinion service if you need it)
Thank you -- and yes, if I don't make progress in the next few weeks, it *is* second opinion time.
