CASMEC 2024 - University High School of Fresno Percussion Ensemble feat.

Abrianna Gomez aka AB has been doing amazing things as percussion director of University High School. One of the biggest events this weekend was held in Sacramento, CA called the California Music Educators Association also known as CASMEC where music educators and schools from all over California participate in, and as part of one of her sets, she showcased a segment of Tahitian Percussion! This is the first time ever that a high school percussion ensemble got to play at CASMEC and to top it off, feature such a unique style of drumming from French Polynesia. I am beyond proud of the progress that Ab has made not only in the world of modern percussion but with her students! Gooooo AB!
