A few years ago my friend who was a qualified medical doctor working in a maternity unit said that with the state of the NHS at that point, there was going to be an event in which babies would die and someone would be held responsible. Hopefully people will learn to accept that sometimes, unfortunately, babies are in such a poor state of health that sadly nothing can be done, and blaming the staff is not always appropriate or even a mark of justice.

It will be hard, but it's possible. A similar case is Lucia de Berk who also was a nurse and convicted of multiple charges. She was later exonerated and compensated for it, and she has since given a Ted Talk about her experience.
What ever the outcome of this is, it is ludicrous how many people are saying ‘I knew she didn’t do this’ ‘I knew she was a scapegoat’ ‘I always felt something was wrong’, Oh poor girl, she was obviously set up’. On what basis? Feelings? Or the idea that a female nurse isn’t capable of such atrocities. I doubt hardly any have read the court transcripts. There may have been a miscarriage of justice, but we shouldn’t assume innocence on feelings.
If nobody ever saw LL do anything wrong and she wasnt even in the places at the times she was accused of being and there are other explanations that would put the responsibility at the feet of numerous senior employees and management. If it is another example of seriously mismanagement of a hospital, it does seem plausible that the rich and powerful though incompetent might prefer a scapegoat. Very sad for the parents whatever the truth. terrifying for LL if innocent. The truth ought to be more important than covering the arses of senior employers. And perhaps the countess of chester hospital ought to be closed down. Unfortunately we have the post office scandal involvering 700 innocent victims, multiple lives lost, several suicisides, hundreds of famlies devasted, many jailed for being innocent including a pregnant woman and yet decades of persistent lying simply to cover the arses of senior employees and management.
According to Deming the founding father of Quality Management (1986) Out of the Crisis, 95% of problems are down to the system and it is the workers who get the blame. All business consist of processes, management use a number of processes to construct their management system all processes suffer from variation which is the responsibility of the management. As a professor of management I believe that the Lucy Letby problems are down to the culture of the system. Peter Harrison DBA, PhD MSc PGCE.
I’ve always questioned Lucy’s innocence, but what I don’t understand is how she could only have been proven guilty of murder by EVIDENCE…. So how can solid evidence proving her guilty of murder suddenly change to now no evidence of murder??? There is seriously something wrong with the medical results, documents, people responsible

Very worrying times. This does not sound let a genuine mistake in the justice system, it seems more like a collective of individuals working together (under somebody's orders) to convict an innocent women. If this is so and she is truly innocent, we first need to get the truth for the parents (i.e. what really caused the tragic deaths and who was responsible) and then go after the collective who worked on the false conviction and establish whose orders they were following

Lucy letby is innocent. She is not capable of killing so many babies. Not perfect I agree and I certainly don’t think she helped herself during her trial but she is innocent and the NHS have let her be jailed for all of their wrongdoing, neglect, bad management yet again instead of taking the blame…. And the reason why, it was too much for them that’s why. It was too big of a deal so they let the nurse who they all didn’t like to take the blame.
15 life sentances caused by being fitted up by the doctors and management at that nhs hospital , and wait until the families of the babies rebel and start sueing , this is only the start of it all unravelling !

Evan’s deserves to be on a charge himself !
Well done to David Davis
and the rest of the guys for sticking with it.
Have a look at yesterday's UK Column that exposes a skeleton in Evans' cupboard.
If even half of this is true, she had a really poor defence team.
They were terrible! No character witnesses? No expert witnesses?
From my understanding, it was just literally just her and a plumber.
@@sbeast64😂😂😂😂..@plumber....tbh i just started following this 2 days ago and i thought hang on..things are not adding up, but then also thought of the notes found in her house etc.
Im not saying she is guilty but it seems she's not had a fair hearing and the evidences presented against her were quite skewed in the direction of ensuring she was found guilty without seeking to balance that view with other expert evidence!
David Davis - the best prime minister we never had.
If only he still could be… always rated him as a cut above most politicians of any party… He is a complete hero… and the pre eminent experts from all over the world carried out a truly independant and meticulous investigation… which can be completely relied on… ANDthere was No Money or Ego involved!!!🙏👍….
Didn’t he loose the leadership to David Cameron?
If so it’s 🤦🏻♀️
Yet another reason why people need to slow down when this stuff happens, justice needs time and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. But in the court of public opinion this lady was immediately judged as guilty.
I agree. The media jump on these types of stories as soon as they happen, then trash suspects & from a narrative that totally sways the public into believing or thinking in the same way. Media & journalists need to stop because it's destroying people's lives.
Yes, everyone wants to be the judge, with no knowledge, understanding or evidence. They just want a villain for sensationalist theories
The mainstream media need to take some responsibility as they the one that feed the public the headlines and what they report from inside the court, they condemned her
I always thought there was something not right about this case. A full investigation needs to be done and bring those to trial that were responsible.
Everyone including the Dr’s who pointed the finger at her need to be questioned at tribunal
God it's been hard enough to try and get an investigation into the grooming gangs from 15/20 years ago I wouldn't hold your breath.
Thank goodness for those like David Davis who are willing to take on the establishment in search of the truth.
Hopefully the parents can understand that their babies were not murdered by Lucy but we’re extremely sick, along with extremely bad practice by junior doctors.
followed by clownshow police followed by clownshow courts.
Poor Lucy is still stuck in jail. I hope this case is dealt with quickly as she has suffered enough.
Well done to those who spoke up! More people need to speak up.
If she is innocent, I’m sure this experience will have damaged her immeasurably. In theory she could opt for a Return to Practice course and re-enter the nursing register. If it were me I would not go near a patient again!
I said from the start that Lucy wasn't guilty. Yet another UK institution cover up. I now don`t trust any of them.!!!
Forgiveness for mistakes and acceptance of natural processes
🙏✝️
My thoughts and prayers are with the families and their babies. I hope for truth and justice for ALL 🙏🏽
I don't think she is guilty. They needed a scapegoat.
What's nearly as remarkable is watching the two "Telegraph Establishment Puppets" being educated on the failings and shortcomings of the Establishment...
This now looks like a total miscarriage of justice 🤔🤔🤔
This is just a very sad case. I work in a very large NICU and this breaks heart!
It was always a case of they decided she was guilty so they only looked for things that would help them prove it. They were never interested in the truth.
Including a well paid for so called expert witness.
That's just the police and justice system.
Yes those consultants just made the “NO” evidence fit. Yes she should not have taken handover sheets home, but they are NOT medical notes
As in so many miscarriages of justice.
It really looks like that. The technical name is 'Confirmation bias', a common cognitive bias.
There should be an independent NHS Investigation Board to investigate every case!
Shes going to walk, watch this space.
It's becoming increasingly likely. Wonder how much compensation she would get for this.
I've been in healthcare for over 40 years now and I've seen some horrendous things committed by doctors with no comeback at all. Covered up by their colleagues or department with the blame going to the nearest healthcare worker around if feasible. I've always felt very uneasy about her verdict.
I listened to everything the world experts reported. She was a scapegoat.
And to make it worse, they used her to raise money for the hospital, then blamed her for everything that went wrong without evidence. Talk about evil!
David davies & Rupert Lowe.
Proper politicians.
Fighting for our rights.
The rest fighting for their own benefit and survival.
David and Rupert should form an all British party and bring this great country back to what it was.
The greatest tragedy in the justice system is when an innocent person is wrongfully convicted.
She confessed ???
@@michaelshore2300 she is in prison still stating her innocence ! wonder why ? because she is and has been fitted up !
@@michaelshore2300 there’s new evidence that suggest she was set up, she could possibly be innocent
@@michaelshore2300 No. She has maintained her innocence since the start. Having said that, there were conflicting messages in some post it notes they found, but they're not really reliable overall.
How will she possibly rebuild her life from this ☹️☹️
It will be hard, but it's possible.
A similar case is Lucia de Berk who also was a nurse and convicted of multiple charges. She was later exonerated and compensated for it, and she has since given a Ted Talk about her experience.
Thank God the truth is out .
LL original defence barrister should be stripped of his KC because he seriously failed in his duty to defend, that's why we're at this point.
Not to mention the evil doctors involved in the tainted blood scandal. We really can't trust anyone in this country.
Some Dr's need to be charged here
They'll probably be promoted sideways
According to Deming the founding father of Quality Management (1986) Out of the Crisis, 95% of problems are down to the system and it is the workers who get the blame. All business consist of processes, management use a number of processes to construct their management system all processes suffer from variation which is the responsibility of the management. As a professor of management I believe that the Lucy Letby problems are down to the culture of the system. Peter Harrison DBA, PhD MSc PGCE.
I truly believe that we now have to prove our innocence. Rather than innocent till proven guilty 😔
This doesn't surprise me at all. The prosecuting team against Lucy were on a power roll and made a bunch of money doing it.
Are the NHS trying to cover up something?
Diversity hires.
I did not follow the case thoroughly. I heard about it and saw her conviction on TV. Now I am starting to think that she was scapegoated to cover up the failings of the neonatal unit. I suspect that they set her up.
A mixture of stupid police and lying doctors throw in a biased judge and here is the result a young woman locked up for life ,,, Beyound evil what they have done to her not forgetting the filthy media and their demonising her
@@rolandhawken6628 add inbred Dr Ravi Jayaram too busy doing TV doctor shows on channel 4
The nhs and hospital used her as a scapegoat for their poor performance and unforgivable negligence… that poor young woman and her poor family!!!
💯
Lawyers can be equally incompetent.
They're lazy, money worshipping sociopathic, ignorant, arrogant, plus incompetent investigators, especially regulators' staff.
God sees us whistleblowers
Very worrying times. This does not sound let a genuine mistake in the justice system, it seems more like a collective of individuals working together (under somebody's orders) to convict an innocent women. If this is so and she is truly innocent, we first need to get the truth for the parents (i.e. what really caused the tragic deaths and who was responsible) and then go after the collective who worked on the false conviction and establish whose orders they were following
If this woman is cleared then every single person currently employed by the CPS should be sacked on the spot!
Shame they can't do something like this with the Global Warming / Climate Change argument..., or the "weather" as the rest of us know it... Team of experts, the best people in the world, setting out the case one way or the other. It would save the whole world billions...
This looks bad . If 🎉Letby turns out to be innocent an immediate release has to come . Compensation definitely . No ideas as to how she will pick up her career though .
I honestly think the conviction was unsafe and rushed through.
He did not say say "maybe innocent" he said that there was no murder
Why has the Dr that did actually kill a baby and then accused Lucy not been arrested
DEI.
@@BeatTheSensorNo immigrants no NHS
Exactly
because he/she is a DOCTOR and not some nurse who is easier to blame!
Dr Ravi Jayaram ...
I didn't think it felt right at the time, she always looked in pain.
15 life sentances caused by being fitted up by the doctors and management at that nhs hospital , and wait until the families of the babies rebel and start sueing , this is only the start of it all unravelling !
Free Lucy! The evidence was always questionable; more so with what we now know.
Stop going on about the families. Yes, it’s awful for them, but this is about an innocent woman. They have been lied to. They should be angry and want the truth. But this is about Lucy Letby.
How many babies have died in this hospital since Lucy has been removed? What procedures have been put in place since this tragedy
The hospital was downgraded a long time ago so it doesn't take such premature baby's of low gestation so we can't compare.
NHS a blind man can see whats wrong with it. God why can`t these so called experts and politicians sort it out.???
Come and see me I spell out whats wrong with it and how to rectify it. I wouldn`t give the NHS another extra penny until its sorted.
Thank the Lord we no longer have capital punishment.
he didn't say she might be innocent. he said there was no crime.
And if there is no crime she can't be guilty.
The BBC and MSM in general threw Lucy under the bus from the start. They are guilty of creating this mess with continuous outrageous reporting. Lucy should be paid at the minimum £100 million in damages as she will never be able to do the job she loved as tens of thousands will always believe she is guilty. It makes my piss boil about how the media treated this poor Woman. The way the media found her guilty even whilst the trial was running is unfathomable.
So so sad and lack of teamwork ...her colleagues threw her under the bus
Jury never heard any of the undermining evidence
Those lawyers in both sides need prosecuting
This is going to be so expensive.
Said to my mum she’s innocent since the trial and my mum looks at me like I’ve got two horns. So terrifying how people just believe any narrative
Your mum thought liike me , the eviden ce given by prosecutor, tge fact tgey found so much documentation at her home , documentation that she should never taken out of the hospital.
Dewi evans is a quack and has a lot to answer for. Lets face it. He was paid a lot of money for a false diagnosis. Dewi should be made to pay this money back. And Id love for him to sit in jail to reflect on his actions
Justice for Lucy Letby! It is absolutely clear that Lucy was stiched up! She needs to be released immediately and the management and Doctors involved must be subject to intense scrutiny.
There was no medical evidence!
Absolutely shocking the justice system has allowed the original case to be so biased 😢
34:51 Starmer? He doesn't give a sh1t about justice 🤷🏻♀️
I kept saying this woman did not kill babies . I just knew she was not guilty .
