Canadian? It's $325 near my place. I don't order things online. Too many scams. Knock offs. I prefer to see an item in person and hold it in my hand so I can inspect it for defects. I decided not to get it due to 1. I just bought a knife for $325 , and 2. I don't like how they've skeletonized the handle. 3. The Handle material and sheath are garbage. I'd have to spend more money to upgrade them.

The apocalypse knife. I’ve had mine for about 5-6 years now and it’s been bomb-proof. Just bought a BK19 and they are 2 very different animals. The BK2 is my favourite.
It is always a great idea to remove the coating and force a patina on any knife, in my opinion ,the coating some companies use couldnt strike a ferro rod if you begged it ,every knife is to the person ,but it should be able to strike a ferro ,batton through wood ,and have a great edge retention ,at least .great review, btw ,brother .God bless you and your family, and happy camping 🏕 🙏 😊. Now available in S35VN with black micarta scales & a kydex sheath. (Stonewashed or DLC coated blade) knives & tools exclusive. A bit on the expensive side but I had to snag myself one.
The BK2 is a workhorse. When shopping for a knife for my bugout bag years ago I watched many reviews, comparisons and so fourth. At the time people where pointing out where the BK2 wasn’t as good as others on certain tasks, but it checked all the boxes and I found very few people saying it wasn’t the most well rounded knife at the time… For me, $100 to $120 for something my life may depend on is nothing (think I gave $75 to $85 for mine back then) Although I also have a hatchet and an ax I can make pretty quick work out of processing wood with the BK2 if necessary. I like it well enough I bought one for everyone in my small group one year for Christmas. I have cheaper knives in caches, but this is what’s in my bag.

I think that’s good entertainment if you just want to watch knives get destroyed, and I do enjoy watching him, but I can’t take that very seriously. @Gus Wolf I think the thing with his tests is the value is when and how the knife fails/ how it takes damage and so on.
