As per my experience it won't hold exactly the same but your curls also won't come back immediately, slowly they will come back For me straight hair lasts for one day and wavy lasts for a week after which is good:)

Guys if you use this as a dryer it is quick and totally fine but don't expect it as a straightener it won't last even 20 min

It maybe due to humidity where you live unfortunately wavy curly hair is bound to frizz and revert back in humid weather
