For anybody else stumbling upon this - I have the Vitamix Propel Series 750, purchased in 2023 and looks similar to this one. The screw on the spinning blender gear part was a 2.5mm allen head for mine. And the 4 on top of the case look like torx but I used a 3mm allen on those and they came out just fine (my torx are all bits and when putting them in a socket they wouldn't fit in the holes to get to them). One of my switches stopped working. I swapped the pulse and start/stop switches since I don't use the pulse one for now. If you did need a new switch its part number is VM63906. In mine the circuit board was not mounted to the front like his but on the side of the motor.
Well shoot. I have the same unit that's about 5 years old and the start switch hasn't worked right from the start. But the dial and pulse switch works fine. Was hoping there was going to be an easy fix for this like simply replacing the switch but it seems to be an inherent problem with the boards in these things as this seems like a pretty common problem. I've sent an email to Vitamix as surely they know about this and we'll see what they have to say. They're probably going to want the unit back and charge me to fix it since it's likely out of warranty, even though the unit was like this from the factory. What a pain. Thanks for the video though. At least I know how to take the thing about if I need to.
