I use to think there were boring parts of the Bible, too, but I didn’t realize how much I was missing out on until I started studying in more depth. I Something I learned recently is that there are no extraneous words in the Scriptures. When you’re reading the Hebrew especially, every single letter is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Hebrew is such a beautiful language. You see, each letter has its own meaning. breaking down words in the Hebrew makes for a very rich understanding of the Scripture. Also, it is amazing to see how our Savior Jesus is literally on every page of the Torah (the first five books of the Bible.) He is everywhere, even in the boring parts. Isn’t that so exciting?! I hope this inspires you and everyone reading to press in, and see those boring parts with a fresh set of eyes. Our God is amazing! And every Word of His is more precious the silver and gold. A wonderful ministry that does weekly online teachings is The Way Biblical Fellowship. The go through the Torah every year, teaching on a portion of the Torah every week. It’s amazing to see parallels between the Old and New Testament. Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Y’all be blessed!

Waw you took the words out of my mouth! I usually find the meanings of names and put them together and have found many amazing messages, God inspired every word for a reason. We just have to be disciplined, and seek Him with all our hearts and soul. Thanks for sharing your comment!

I feel kinda guilty now, as I am watching this video at 10pm while I'm laying in bed... Anyway, thanks for sharing you tips with us! I don't really have an organized routine like you do and I'd love to change that. But I don't think establishing a morning routine for yourself is like a push of a button. Instead, it's something that needs to grow overtime, at least I know this to be true for myself. In the last few months, I have grown quite a lot in devoting some of my time for praying and reading the bible. And I can already see the difference it makes in my whole day. There's still a long way to go if I want to have a routine like you do, but I'm excited for the journey!

Your so organized. Im a mess in the morning but its clearly because of the fact that i dont prepare the night before and find myself rushing through everything including my time with God which makes everything worse. Im currently trying to make my morning routine better. I really like your morning routine and i will most definitely keep it in mind while im trying to better mine. Great video! God bless always!

      @ GodIsCallingINT
I hate that stressed out/rushed feeling in the morning! If you hate it too, get in the habit of preparing as much as you can the night before. But start small, so you won't be overwhelmed. For example, if you're the type who forgets/can't find your keys, put them in your bag or at least hang them on a hook by the door where you'll see them. For your phone, get in the habit of putting it down only in certain spots. I have 3 that I try to stick to - my desk, the table where it charges, and once in a while, the kitchen table. I wish I could put it away at night. But due to a serious family situation where I have to be reachable 24/7, it's face down on my night table.
If you struggle with what to wear, put out 2-3 (no more than that) options the night before. Don't just do it mentally. You don't want to have an outfit in mind, only to realize in the morning that something is dirty, or you can't find some other thing. Physically get everything out. That way, you're certain you have what you need.
The trick is getting all these trivial things out of the way so you can focus on the important thing, which is God. And no, I am not an expert in this. Far from it! I'm talking to myself as well as to you. Take care.

Thats a very good message. I think a lot of disciples actually don't know how to organize that or how to pray in the morning. This is the most fought part in our lives as Christians as the devil wants to steal these roots we would grow through daily prayer and lecture. Then we often feel guilty when we don't manage that and this might hold us back even more.
I think the breakthrough when you realize that prayer is refreshing as David recognized and said in the psalms.
    God bless y'all :)

What a cool dude! Just heard about rivers and robots from my worship leader at church and I’m really grateful I found the channel. One thing I’ve enjoyed doing recently is practicing “silence”. I read a book by John Mark Comer called, “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry.” It’s great sometimes to quiet yourself and slow down enough to think about God and get away from the hurry in our world.

Thank you for sharing how you spend time with God, so many important points. I think it’s also wise to prepare your heart on Sunday mornings before you worship with your brethren on Lords day. Also, I typically prepare a breakfast casserole or continental breakfast the night before so I can feed our family before we leave for church. We’re at church all morning maybe even into the afternoons, so we need the fuel.

  • @Yesica1993

I almost missed this, for not having the little bell checked. Duh! This was wonderful. I agree completely about starting your day the night before. I am stuck working from home right now, which is not nearly as wonderful as everyone thinks it is. (But that's another topic.) When I did work in an office, I had to get stuff ready the night before because I cannot think straight in the mornings. (I'm not joking when I say there were times I would be on the train wondering and checking to see if I even had shoes on, because I barely remembered getting dressed.) That's why I would lay out my clothes, pack my bag, get my keys/ID, etc. the night before. That way, even if by the time I got on the train I didn't remember doing any of it, in reality, I had.
And what a wise and wonderful idea to think about/pray in the morning for those I may meet that day! I am going to have to start doing that. Thank you!

I enjoyed this. You gave some great tips. I like the idea of having something enjoyable in the morning to make us look forwards a bit more to getting up. Perhaps I'll get myself some nicer coffee and food for the mornings and spend time praying and getting a bible reading plan app or something to read a daily scripture in the morning before starting the day. Currently I do most of my prayer and bible reading in the evenings but I need to start doing something in the mornings, but like you I'm not a morning person. I have noticed that since I started praying more in general, after some prompting from the Lord, I have been waking up at 5:30 am even morning but then I go back to sleep. Maybe that is also the Lord prompting me to pray more in the mornings.

Thanks for sharing your morning routine Nathan. 😊 Very timely as recently, I have noticed social media and Netflix are quickly becoming things that dominate my time. Some of your tips I really haven't considered, like putting the devices in another room and investing in a proper alarm clock... pretty old school. But, perhaps, people back in the day didn't have such difficulty getting up for work coz they were free of a lot of the technical distractions we have today. It's been proven that the screen light on your phone and laptop tells your brain that it's day time, which is probably why I often don't sleep well and at nights and so as a result I'm always tired and low on energy all day the next day. As I said, this video is timely, gonna give these practical suggestions a crack. God bless 😎

Yeah this is good. But my rountin is more of a little mess because i am a single mom of four but as so as i open my eye i thank God for the pain i feel in my knees and feet Because it reminds me that i must pray over my children school and play ground and many more things by 8:30 am i am very tired but ready to read my devotionals and my bible. I wonder should i have a different kind of planner? May GOD Blesa you and all of your family.
