How to Level Siding with Water Level | Install Horizontal & Vertical Siding Level | Hardie Siding

How to use a water level to establish a level line around your house to install horizontal, lap, vertical and vinyl siding level. We used a transit and water level to establish a level line around the house, so I can install the Hardie Plank siding level. You can use a water level to level house siding--Hardie fiber cement siding, LP Smartside siding, composite siding, vinyl siding or any other lap and vertical siding. A water level is easy to use, inexpensive and effective. You don't need to use a transit to level siding.

I had a couple of construction projects built when i lived in Nicaragua , water level was always in use. Doorway header, windows etc...

You were wise to use a large diameter tubing. Depending on the length and diameter of tube you may encounter flow impedance which would frustrate your endeavor.
