you can already do that with every fans, just pull the rotating part out. The only thing different with this on is the added rotating part in the package.
the fan is backwards, at first it's counterclockwise and after it's clockwise, also if you listen carefully he said "if you grab your reverse blades", not "turn the blades upside down"
@@thedarkemissary How so? I understand that blades might be optimized for flow in one particular direction but reversing the rotational direction definitely reverses the flow.
@@juba5228 you don’t buy and install intake fans and then buy and install exhaust fans. You buy fans and install them at the front for intake or the back for exhaust.. given they’re pointed in the same direction. @@abasiczombie.mostly only useful for fish tank pc case owners or if you can install fans on the bottom of your case otherwise overpriced and worthless to most
Aio fans are normal fans like the one in your pc case when it comes to dimensions and function. Only difference is aio fans are better optimized for static pressure which is what you want when mounted to a radiator and normal pc case fans are optimized for airflow.
This is cool, yes, but absolutely absurd when it comes to sound and performance. You cannot have removable blades on a fan like the Noctua NF-A12 for example…
Completely braindead solution with extra plastic waste. Why not just make it so one can take off the motor and the fan, and mount it in the other direction?
If your cpu cooler is a tower that's pushing air out the back you can put your one fan in the front, if your cooler is a stock style cooler throw it in the back
This is such a waste, though, what happens to the other blades ? Have the fans reversable and the center acting like a hub cap rather and have a ploarity switch to change the direction the fan spins. That way, you won't need two blades for one fan.
I had a cheap Zalman PC case 5 years ago. It's really nice but the fans were really bad. I said, "okay no problem, I'm gonna swap them soon" and I swap them with the Arctic P12 fans TODAY because they are really expensive for me. Yes, I'm living in Turkey that has %130 inflation rate and the exchange rate is 1 usd = 28 turkish lira.
The most used for: taking the blade out and can clean it easier for every blade.
Yep that's the best part

i wish lian li did this with their unifan cuz i love the look of the unifan and its basically the only fan i use nowadays
I was just about to say something about the lian LI uni fans + this design
Same i've 10 of them on my PC but I reversed 6, I need to see the infinite mirrors I payed for!! 😂 (back looks good anyway)

I always thought this should be a thing, its good to finally see it happening!
Thermaltake does many clever things.
I love the part where he told us what fans he was talking about. What an informative video
Thermaltake swafan ex I think
swapped to bequiet and ditched the rgb... definitely the best move
i like their fans and coolings... because their quiet... so ironic
Aaaand they are gonna be 10x as loud as other fans…
True this is the best fan I like it and use it all the time
link for the fans?
What are the fans called
U legit out it back in same way it come out
Stickers are intact u fooled us😢
the fan is backwards, at first it's counterclockwise and after it's clockwise, also if you listen carefully he said "if you grab your reverse blades", not "turn the blades upside down"
Pay attention to the blades.
These fans comes with 2 sets of blades, one that goes forward and other one backwards to reverse the airflow.
And then it cost like 50 dollars per fan
corsair link and lian li unifan would be the best fans ever with this
What’s the fan name
I think it is thermal right
Thermaltake fans
@@julienbrightwell Wrong, these are Thermaltake not thermalright.
CORSAIR has leds on both sides but the price of ASUS is half of the Corsair
Cant you reverse the direction of the Motor???
No, because the blades themselves are designed to push the air one way. If you reversed the motor it just wouldn't push any air / barely any air
How do you know which side is for intake or exhaust? Someone help me
product name please
thermaltake swafan 12 and swafan ex 12 case fans (they also have 140mm sizes)
Buy duo fans with RGB on both sides
Do a video on apnx f2 fans
there is no extra or new technology. comes just with a second blade in the box...
It would have been smarter to include the option to reverse the rotational direction
That makes no sense. You don't know how fans or physics work.

Which way will air go??
The nicer side
They are from Thermaltake
this thermaltake fans are way too expensive than normal fans and probaably costs equal to a decent motherboard

Apnx fans do this!
link?
2024 and we cant have a software reverse the fan blade rotation yet?
It will be inefficient, because of blades bends
the fan blade is not can be converted.
Costs too much, was gonna buy but charging 100 bucks for fans I'm not doing, when with phantex d30 for 80 bucks
or get ARGB 3 pack of fans from thermalright for $15
so what was the name of the fan
thermaltake swafan 12 and swafan ex 12 case fans (they also have 140mm sizes)
Model of fans ?

Just install an intake fan as the exhaust..🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
LoL common sense right. That's how all are designed. Without taking apart or a separate fan piece
I don’t quite understand, the point of is take air out, how is the intake going to work, genuine question.

You can reverse the flow by swapping the two wires
my guy, DC doesn't work like that. If it was AC then it would work, smh

I usually just reverse voltage to the fan

dont do this please
Wait till he realises that flipping the fan the opposite way will do the same thing 😮

reverse the rotation by reversing electric flow
