  • Hunting companies in Zambia acquire leases from the government to hunt in game management areas (GMAs) under different chiefdoms. These areas are managed by the game department but still belong to the chiefs. Professional hunter Fico Vidale currently hunts in the Lunga Busanga Concession in the Northwestern province of Zambia, which is surrounded by multiple hunting areas that make it difficult for poachers to access Kafue National Park.
Fishing is a popular activity in the national park, with locals using weirs over streams and floodplains. The Busanga Plains flood during the rainy season, making it a breeding ground for fish. When the floods recede, all the fish move back into the rivers. African Parks registers each fish weir and fisherman with a numbered shirt. However, some still use fishing as a cover for poaching.
Anti-poaching is mostly done during the hunting season and the dry season because of accessibility. Recently, a poacher was caught while Fico Vidale was hunting buffalo with a client, and African Parks prosecuted him. They have trained their people in prosecution and intelligence gathering. Poachers use crude firearms and can wound more animals than they kill, posing a danger to everyone in the area.

He was hunting and so were you! If he hunts for the survival of his family, he is described as a poacher. What about you who hunt animals for trophies and house ornament? How should we call you, huh? But, ultimately, you also do it for your own living. Quit this game of saying you give back to the community while you entirely benefit, and for the record, you are poaching in their mother-land..!! World cruelty.

So, in your logic: I can just go to any farmer´s field, a take the crops and vegetables I want? I mean, he is harvesting, I am harvesting...
There is not a single country in the world, where you can hunt on public or private ground without some kind of license.
His own community has decided, that the he is not allowed to hunt, so he is stealing from them!
These poachers don´t hunt for their existence, but for money.
Legal hunting brings many jobs thousands of dollar into the communities. The meat is shared with all the villagers.
Many schools can only exist, because of hunting camps and their camps finance them.
Just one buffalo hunt brings jobs for tracker, skinner, driver, cook , roommates, P.H. and many more, to a place, where few or no no other paid jobs are and his meat will feed many families in need.
But if he shoots the same buffalo, with his "pellet-gun" he would most likely only have wounded him.
Until he dies he becomes a lethal thread for everyone, who stumbles on him in the brush or, like wounded buffalo use to do, at the next waterhole...

His motherland😂. So because he is black he may hunt but the white manmay not because he is white. Such a racist fool. The black chief decides who may and who may not hunt. The hunter from overseas isnt taking the meat along. The community gets it. The black poacher steals the meat and makes only himself rich.
