We have to drive to Savannah for the nearest bins. Just over 4 hours from western Georgia... Fortunately my bestest ever friend, of over 3 decades lives there 😍 can only make the trip bimonthly, but always so worth it. August 2-4 is our next trip and it can't get here soon enough ! Great finds
I am going to Austin soon!!! San Antonio Bins have been split into 2 sections. I think they are getting the workers out of the heat in the warehouse. I guess. There are only 4 rows of bins right now in SA. Round Rock is much smaller. I didnt find much when i went

Peruvian connection does very well . I paid up for a sweater last fall and was not sure ( I tried a test - paid same amount for 2 brands - the other for trendy design , unique and NWT, Peruvian was in exc cond but not NWT). So I got my money back tenfold ($7 to $70 plus ship ) on eBay 1st time I listed them . It took forever to sell the other brand . I got $30/40 for the trendier brand. I have not seen another Peruvian item in good condition since !
Great haul. I’m in Waxahachie Texas. My closest bins is in Fort Worth haven’t been there yet . Hope I can find great finds like yours when I go next week.

When looking up styles do you go to current brand website and find something similar? If can’t find comprobable style is there a different website you use to look up RN? Silly question - do you wash the clothes before selling? Any rec on laundry detergent etc? How do you estimate shipping on home goods? How do you know if tags 🏷 are older or newer?
-When looking up style names, I google brand name and characteristics of the item, like "Free People dolman sleeve striped sweater." If I cant find it when scrolling through image results, I will add in other things like material content and/or color. -If the item needs to be washed, I will wash it. If it seems to be in excellent condition (which is 99% of what I pick up), I steam to sanitize. -I only sell on Poshmark and they have shipping already set up, I just have to make sure my home goods are under 5 pounds and that I have a box to ship them in! -I know older/newer tags just from experience. You can also tell sometimes when researching your items. If you thrift a Vince item with a tag you havent seen before and then see that the item is still available online, that prob means it's their newest tag. Hope this helps!

Google "anthropologie tags" and familiarize yourself with them. There are a lot but there's a certain "look" and higher quality to anthro pieces that also can help you distinguish when thrifting!
Heather Larson these items go to a landfill if they are not bought, this is their last stop. I do not condone purchasing fur retail in any way but if the item is already produced and out there in the world, wouldn’t you agree that it deserves to be valued and not just sent off to a landfill? This is my thinking.

When I lived in Austin, I swear Goodwills were gems. People throw out brand new designer stuff all the time, especially in North Austin. Great finds!
