Greetings from SOCAL…We have watched your NCL Bliss Alaska cruise videos several times in preparation for our exact upcoming cruise. Can’t wait. Thank you for a job well done!
I’m so glad u are finding them helpful. It’s encouraging to get the positive feedback. Next day Icy Strait Point coming out soon! Thanks for the support - trying to get to 1k subscribers 😀
So glad you enjoyed the series of videos! Thanks for watching. We are trying to get to and stay above 1k subscribers! Enjoy your trip and if u have any questions ask me here! Happy to help. 😀
We bought that excursion directly thru the cruise line. Thanks for the kind words - and thanks for staying subscribed it really helps us. Some people have been unsubscribing after their vacation and it’s been rough trying to get to over 1k subscribers organically - so thank you! Any other questions I’m happy to answer if I can. 😃
Thank you for your amazing videos, this year I did a cruise for the Caribbean with Royal Caribbean, I would like to take a Cruise for Alaska but I am hesitating if should I go with Royal Caribbean or with Norwegian. Could you help me with your recommendation?
Hey thanks for the support and glad your enjoying the videos. Next one (Icy Strait Point) out soon. As far as picking between RC and NCL for Alaska things I would consider: • the port stops. If we go again we would def want to cover the ports we didn’t go to already. I’ve heard Skagway train excursion is good but books up fast! Glacier Bay stop I’ve heard is number one and we would for sure want to have that be a stop if we go Alaska again. So number one consideration is what port stops the ship goes to. • second thought - our opinion is food is better overall on NCL. This was unanimous - all four of us said this independently. • cost? If u can get one for much less than the other and if ports are equally appealing to u maybe go with one that costs u less • young kids ? My youngest daughter u saw in videos LOVED the Splash Academy - never wanted to leave it. She also liked kids club on Royal Caribbean ships but she says NCL is even better. I will cover this more in depth in the upcoming “NCL Bliss What we Like and What we Didn’t” vlog that will be coming out in about 10 days from now. Hope some of this helps and I appreciate your support - trying to get to 1k subscribers!
Thank you for sharing your amazing videos, we will be going on the same cruise ship on Aug5-12. Any tips to where we can get the offshore tour? Thank you so much:)
Happy to answer - we booked the Whale Watching / Mendenhall Glacier and the Zipline in Ketchikan both thru NCL. You can do it on the app. We booked the private hike via a 3rd party operator. Happy to provide their contact info to u if u would like it. Thanks so much for the support - trying to get to and stay above 1k subscribers. My hope is people don’t unsubscribe after they go on their trips 🙃
Hi I'm booked for July for this excursion.is there sufficient time ? I know the bliss is only in port for about 6 hours but it looks as if you did it time for lunch
Hey Shane - thanks for watching and staying subscribed. We appreciate the support. It was a tight squeeze but the excursion was purchased thru the cruise line and they make sure u make it back on time. Third party operators can’t guarantee that. As long as u book thru the cruise line on stops where the window is smaller you will be fine. The hike we did in the Sitka vlog was a third party operator so we do use them as well but when the stops are not as long we prefer to book excursions directly thru the cruise line. Hope this helps and I’m here to answer any other questions so ask away! Thanks again for your support of the channel.
@@nkinsocal thank you and your family for the videos they have helped me greatly to prepare .And yes I did book through the cruise line. Thanks again .I'll do my day by day vlog after the cruise stay tuned.
@keithannwood6570 thanks for the kind words. We need more subscribers like you who legitimately enjoy our vlogs. Enjoy your trip in May and if u have any more questions I’m here to help if I can! 😃
@@nkinsocal What about your cell coverage? We have Verizon. Is it like when you travel outside the US and let your carrier know? You sweet family doesn't look like they are devise dependant??!! Which is awesome!
@keithannwood6570 we consciously all 4 disconnected for the cruise. We didn’t buy a WiFi plan. We didn’t let kids take devices on the cruise. They use them enough at home! Great to take a break. We have AT&T - While in port our cell coverage worked just as it would in mainland USA. While at sea the kids were kept so busy loving their respective kids clubs onboard that they didn’t miss their devices one bit. It was the right choice and a good reminder that we can all “survive” without the internet. lol. Any other questions I’m here! Thanks again for staying subscribed- I’m finding some unsubscribe after their vacation and it’s tougher to get to 1k organic subscribers - but we are staying true to not buying subscribers!
Thank you for the praise. We enjoy doing it - just a struggle here to organically get to the point where these videos become monetized. Have to get to and stay above 1k subscribers. It’s requiring patience! Finding that some people unsubscribe after they watch a series or finish their vacation. Have to keep at it on my end! I appreciate the support from u.
Great videos, you give a real sense of the natural environment. Best I’ve seen, well done
Thank you again. We need more subscribers like you!
I am so grateful for these videos - we are doing this exact cruise at the beginning of August and your commentary is so helpful!
Thanks so much for the kind words. It inspires to do more. Thanks for the support - trying to get to 1k subscribers 😀

Great videos. What are the names of these excursions? Did you have to do anything special to have back to back excursions?
Hey Brad thanks I’m happy to help - which excursion the hike?
Thanks for these great videos! How did you get to dine at Cagney's? We are not being allowed to make a reservation ahead of time of our cruise.
We did book it ahead of time on the app! Have u downloaded the app?
