726氣墊登陸艇載重比LCAC100 (SSC)的少了14噸. 但在全載時726的速度是60節, 而LCAC100的速度只有30節, 相差甚遠. 論速度, LCAC100只能和解放軍的724型氣墊登陸艇(現已退居二線)相約. (據美國國防部官網 Contracts For April 16, 2020: 通過美海軍測試并接收的是編號 LCAC105 及 LCAC106. 新單是由LCAC109至123. 看來報廢了不少)
