गरिमा लोहिया ने 23 मई 2022 को घोषित हुए यूपीएससी(UPSC) की परीक्षा परिणाम में पूरे भारत में (AIR 2) दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया है। गरिमा लोहिया बिहार के बक्सर जिले में रहने वाली एक मध्यवर्गीय परिवार की लड़की है उनके पिता का नाम नारायण प्रसाद लोहिया है जो बिहार के एक कारोबारी है।
गरिमा लोहिया ने अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा बिहार जिले के बक्सर शहर के वुडस्टॉक स्कूल से की थी इन्होंने आगे की पढ़ाई बनारस के एक भगवानपुर नामक स्कूल से की थी और उसके बाद वह दिल्ली चली गई दिल्ली में इन्होंने करोड़ीमल कॉलेज में एडमिशन लिया।
वहां से अपनी ग्रेजुएशन की पढ़ाई की पढ़ाई के बाद इन्होंने यूपीएससी की तैयारी का मन बना लिया, गरिमा बताती है कि वो घर पर ही रहकर प्रतिदिन 8 से 10 घंटा पढ़ाई करती थी। जिस जगह से वो आती है वहां पर upsc से संबंधित किताबें मिलना बड़ा मुश्किल हो जाता था। 2020 में UPSC के अपने पहले प्रयास में वो असफल रही। इस असफ़लता के कारणों को जानकर गरिमा जी ने एक बार फिर से UPSC परीक्षा की तैयारी में लग गयी।
अपने दूसरे प्रयास 2022 में गरिमा ने घर पर ही रहकर UPSC की परीक्षा में AIR 2 रैंक हासिल करके देश भर में बक्सर का नाम रोशन किया।
गरिमा जी ने "जोश UPSC PODCAST" पर न सिर्फ अपनी UPSC की जर्नी हमारे साथ साझा की बल्कि उन्होंने UPSC में सफलता हासिल करने की रणनीति साझा की।

It's because you are easily manipulated by social media.
The truth is that she has secured rank 2nd and a lot of people i know who are a lot more privileged than her have not cracked the exam despite having worked really hard.
So, as a civil servant aspirant should be, we should just learn only good things from her journey and move on.
