@@TimeAndCrown And yes you are correct it’s a Rhonda movement Because in March I had the battery changed because who knows how long it sat under the glass and I had the jeweller show me the movement I took some pictures of it and stuff, the funny thing is the Alpina website says my movement has one jewel but it says right on the back of the movement of the watch 0 Jewels
Thanks for not boring us with the reference number ;)
very simple but handsome piece
thanks for video. i think i m getting watch alpina too. i like the browm band w it, though. i guess you made alpina watch look nicer w brown band .
Check out, if haven't already, the Glycine F-104.
An excellent and thorough review Anders.
Thank you Brian :)
Very nice ,but that crown is going to cause some damage to your hand have to wear it on the right hand , keep up the good work .
It is definitely something to consider. It does annoy me a bit. Maybe for a person with a larger wrist it's less of a problem. Best regards, Anders.
I own one and it is a beautiful watch but I find the movement a bit too loud. Can anything be done about that?
Earplugs?
Nope.
great review, thanks!
A week ago I bought the 42 mm quartz chronograph in all stainless steel and I’m wondering who makes Alpinas quartz movement?
Hi. My best guess is that they use a Swiss Ronda quartz movement that they do a little modification on.
Best regards,
Anders
@@TimeAndCrown They sure keep it secret though what kind of movements they use, OK thanks
Alpina used too be quality. Not anymore.
@@jeffdolgin7436 and you might have been a smart person at one time but not anymore

Great Video.
It's not affordable. Citizen is affordable.
Alpina is made by Frederique Constant. Their customer service is a joke and they are not quality timepieces. They used too be though.
Pronounced Alpeeeeeena not Alpiiiiiina 😆
rob robertson Where is the brand from?
