Hey, I want to buy a snowboard and probably am going to buy the Jones mountain twin. Do you think that the mountain twin is able to do butters like this, or would I need a softer board?
@@raymae9051 rocker has a really great marketing campaign, but the truth is full camber is better than everything else*. Go watch MFM butter videos. They're insane, and he does it all with full camber because rocker hadn't been dreamed up yet. *rocker is pretty good for beginners to mitigate catching edges, and is mildly more floaty in powder. Still, people learned on camber for decades, and the extra float isn't coming in at a wide margin.
@@SnowboardAddiction oh I didnt know that, I thought that you needed to have two boards, one for carving (a stiff one) and another for tricks (more flexible) Anyways, could you explain to me more further??
I'm having way more soreness in my left knee. I assume is because the only time both feet are not attached to your board is when you are getting on the chairlift and the awkward moments to share the chairs with others. Any advice how to prevent that excessive soreness?
Just bc you can’t ride often shouldn’t have be a big obstacle for riding switch. Just get to know a trail really well and then slowly start riding switch for parts of it, then once you’re comfortable, move on to harder trails
Damn, just figured out that I need a softer flex board to do these tricks :( of course I buy a snowboard and it’s not suitable for the things I wanted to do with it

Hi, any promo / discount code for the Snowboard Addiction products (eg tramp board, jib board, balance bar, etc)?
Hey, I want to buy a snowboard and probably am going to buy the Jones mountain twin. Do you think that the mountain twin is able to do butters like this, or would I need a softer board?
Just read how stiff it is. Normally they rate boards on a 1 to 10 scale. 1 being the softest and 10 being the stiffest
what board flex you running with while doing this tutorial?
Snowboard Addiction so, you don’t ride rocker camber hybrid boards like a Never Summer Prototype to do butters like this?

I'd imagine this being easier switch. Besides the nollie, everything else can be done with the regular stance foot.
Steezus Christ
The MFM is at 0:13, but Is there a tutorial for that nollie butter to tail butter to nose butter 180 or whatever that is at 0:11?
I have a question with the butter tricks. Do I have to have a flexible board? or I can do this tricks with a more tight snowboard??
Any board works, the stiffer it is the more exaggerated you have to make the motions

Get stronger and do some of the lifts switch, still happens to me some but less now that I did those two things
Far left seat for goofies, far right for regulars 🤫 then you should be able also to hold your strapped foot with board on the feet arm
Does anyone know the brand and model of is jacket?
my height 170 weight 80 which board do you recommend for this trick!!!!????
No one of you will ever butter like MFM
Wanna bet?
First - nice vid description
Wonder what MFM thinks about today's popular snowboarding circus trends lol
I wish I could learn to do tricks like this but I only get to ride 2 or 3 times a year and I can’t even ride switch yet
Just bc you can’t ride often shouldn’t have be a big obstacle for riding switch. Just get to know a trail really well and then slowly start riding switch for parts of it, then once you’re comfortable, move on to harder trails
they call this 'Simon' in japan
Rad review. This is one of the top 3 tricks I want to learn. A shifty backside 180 tutorial would be rad. Or a backside 180 bonk tutorial
I still have MFM Osiris Boots.
